Quality! Totally impressed! Just finished with the regular version of the game (not CE) ... many hours of fun .. lots of HO scenes and puzzles ... I especially loved the music! I sure didn't get tired of it in the background. Love the story but no spoiler's here ... a bit unique compared to all the others I've played ... I recommend this one for a long Sunday afternoon of play ... now wishing I could have afforded the CE version but my budget limited me this week ... really didn't want the story to end ... Lots of fun !!!! This is a good long game. I always like animal themed games. I would rate this 4 1/2 stars. Long playing time - many locations Good graphics Good music - soft but helps generate tension Lots of puzzles and HO'S Good storyline Interactive map Hint button that really helps Journal with needed clues Nothing negative here - go for and have fun Loved Pippa !! I Liked It But.... I did like this game somewhat. I liked the story line and graphics. For those of you all bent out of shape for the poor puppies in peril....everyone is fine in the end. I love dogs too, but really, it's just a game, not real puppies. My problem with the game was that there were too many times that using an object to complete a task was more difficult than it needed to be. If I needed a lever to repair something, I shouldn't have to click exactly, and I mean EXACTLY on the correct spot. I kept using objects where I knew they needed to be and kept getting rejected. This was very frustrating! There was just the right amount of HOS and puzzles. None too easy or too difficult. The story line progressed in a natural sequence without a lot of running back and forth. A few times I had to go way back into the game to complete something, but not as much as a lot of games. I wanted it to be one of my favorites, but just can't rate it as such. November 22, 2012
story line was different Pros: -Original storyline, kept me interested in what was happening next -Helpful hint system directed you to the next step instead of saying "nothing to do here" -HO items were not replaced after you found them -No junk piles -Beautiful snowy scenes and realistic animation -Puzzles were simple and fun, wish there were more! -Map saves a lot of time, just click a location and it will take you there -Storyline progressed in parts so there wasn't an overabundance of back and forth Cons: -I switched to casual because I felt myself using the hint a lot, but the sparkles were absolutely useless. *Everything* sparkled whether it was an active zone or not, and some items stayed active even though there was nothing to do leading me to click the same useless book/drawer/etc over and over again. -The storyline, even though original, was *very* heavy on the dog theme. I played because I wanted a game that wasn't creepy or scary but I was soon sick of dogs everywhere. Storyline was tragic and a bit depressing. -Characters in the story weren't helpful, I love when I can interact with characters and they aid in the plot. September 24, 2012
Great Hidden Object game Great game for any level. The scenes are clear and sometimes misleading September 20, 2012
Done way too fastt I liked the game - it was fun and the graphics were great. The only problem is that I finished it in one evening. It needs to be about twice as long. Otherwise it is a good game. Just not sure if it is worth the money. September 14, 2012
Loved the unique story! This game held my interest the whole time, which is unusual for me. I was excited to see where the story was going to lead next. The puzzles were fun and different. I hope there is a sequel coming in the near future. September 11, 2012
I loved this game, one of my favorites! I choose games alot on the reviews, I never try them first. I just buy it if the reviews are mostly good. This one, I decided to try it first. I was hooked the very first scene and bought it without even first playing the trial. I LOVE IT! it is one of my very favorites! The clues make sense with the story and it flows perfectly. The graphics are nice, not as fancy as some I have seen, but the story and use of the characters way make up for it. It just built to this awesome climax, and the HOGs werent to many, and the mini games were really different. This is way far, one of my favorites! I mostly buy CEs but decided to cut back, cause sometimes they are just to long, but this one, I wish I did... LOVED IT! September 10, 2012
Good game but slow-paced The storyline is interesting. The graphics are crisp. The HOS and puzzles are easy. There is an interactive map, very useful. The hint system is also good. All in all a good game, but I found it very slow-paced, I didn't get dragged in the story. Something is missing, but I don't know what, for me to give five stars, sorry. But I still recommend it, and the game length, for me 3 1/2 hours, is worth the money. September 7, 2012
an excellent game i must say that the graphic are just beautiful and scenic. the cursor sometimes needs to be exactly at a certain place to achieve the action. also the logic with using drill on the canal cover was a bit strange to me, but ok. based on the demo - for me it is a definite buy.
