Most boring and irritating match-3 game ever!
Not only do you have to break tiles, but you have to feed the animals at the bottom of the screen before they die. The boards are small and have too many different types of items to match for the game to be fun. For example: if you don't match drops of water fast enough (and you have a total of 5 at all corners of the screen, therefore impossible to match) an animal can die and you lose money.
The power-ups (bones for the dog and fish for the cat) are NOT cumulative; one only so it's no use freeing the 2nd fish if you didn't use the 1st one.
In short: BO-RING!

Much Fun for Everyone!
I have never written a review before, so I hope you will all bear with me, if I don't provide what you're seeking to discover. I just had to submit this, because I found this game to be such light, bright fun and not just for kids at all. If you love animals, you'll love this game. The animals' running, eating and making extremely real sounds will delight you. Someone else mentioned that, if you don't feed the animals they will die. That is not so, as you have the option of selecting the casual game version which does exactly what I described above. The little guys wake up from sleep, run around, sniff the ground, eat the grass and walk or run off, stage left and right, probably because the grass is longer there :) I purposely read reviews for games with animals, because I would not purchase one in which it's up to you to keep the animal alive! So I thought this was important to tell people. I beta'd this game before it's release and, while I was playing, my husband walked by and said: now that's so cute, that's something I'd like to try. I have been waiting for it to come out ever since and am purchasing it immediately for both of us. I would also add that this is the first match 3 I will own and probably the last, as neither of us enjoy match 3 games. But this was so good, we had to have it. Small additional notes on the game -- I haven't played through, so I don't know how many, but there are multiple, multiple levels of play, each adding additional challenges and new characters, some of whom help you clear the board. Very bright and very fun!

Fun M3
Based on the demo, I found this game to be quite entertaining. Graphics are bright, animals cute. The music is jaunty, a bit like a country and western dance.
The objective is to help a farmer tend his animals and build up his farm over a 12 week period. The demo took me a little over half-way through week 1 (playing in relaxed mode), so it looks to be a long game.
Gameplay is varied. There is the swap M3. You can also right-click on groups of 3 like objects, in an L-shape, for instance, to remove them from the board. You make matches to fulfil the needs of the animals, which earns you money and to clear the gold tiles. Four animal helpers are gradually introduced, giving you different bonuses. Their power-ups need to be dropped off the board. This can be tricky, as their locations are fixed. One point to note here is that the power-ups are not stacked. For example, if you collect two of the same kind, you still only have one bonus to use. They can be carried over to the next level. Certain tiles will give you extra bonuses, e.g. a bomb.
There is also a fun time management element to the game. For example, sheep appear at the top of the screen and you earn extra money clicking them. Hens will lay eggs. Clicking on the eggs will also give you more money, but if you are too slow, the eggs will hatch cute chicks.
There was certainly a lot to do, considering it was just week 1! I intend to buy this game and look forward to discovering new elements as the weeks progress.

Liked it
After I finally figured out how to play it since to me the instructions weren't all that great and the music is rather annoying. I love farm games and this on a scale of 1 - 10 would give an 8.5. Not to mention a nice change from "doom and gloom" games I have.

*yawn*
Boring is the only word to describe it. Visually it's cute, but it's slow progress, no bonus items for when (if) you get stuck. I got fed up 20 min into playing.

Boring
The game seemed very boring. The story line was droll and could be skipped over easily.
I only played a few minutes. I could not stand much more of it. The bones and the fish were hard to get around. All of the animals required the same pieces to make them happy but alas you would only have three of those pieces on the entire board.
The game should have been easier to play starting out and then progress to more challenging. It stayed at an impossible level to complete and more annoying than anything!
I would not suggest this game to anyone!!

This Game Is Absolutely Not For Me
As a retired farm wife with a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice, this game is horrendous ... the poor animals will become malnurished, sickly then they'll all starve to death. The farmer will be charged with the Animal Cruelty (an aggravated misdeamnor), convicted, he'll be ordered to pay a large fine and could be sentenced to spend some time in jail.
I played this game for the entire 1 hour trial hoping it would get better, it did not.
This game doesn't even begin to compare with Farmscapes which is a million times much more enjoyable than Farm Quest.
I absolutely positively will NOT purchase this game EVER.
Incidentally, my 6 year old granddaughter, who has several uncles who are successful hog and beef farmers said, "Grandma, this game is STUPID. It gives me a headache." For this reason, I will not recommend this game for children either.

No way out
I usually LOVE match3 games, but this one is rediculus. The goals are too easy, but there is no wat to move the game along if you get stuck on 1 tile. I spent 8 min on 1 level and was on min 12 of another when the trile finally ended. There is no shuffle and only 1 element creates bombs. Frustrating and boring.

Not for anyone over 5 yrs old
Ugh! Boring, tedious, slow-moving, nonsensical... Not suited for anyone over 5 years old! (But if you are looking for a match 3 "starter game" for your young ones, this might be it.)
