Good game let down by horrible UI
I am a big fan of the first two games in this series and was thrilled when I saw this game today however it was overall a bit of a let down.
First the good- The general game play is great. It builds on the first two games adding new features whilst keeping the general feel I know and love. The commercial buildings work differently with capacity replacing catchment area, they are now up-gradable and come in 4 categories. Each house wants to be a dream house, to do this you need to provide it with a number of amenities. It sounds convoluted but it works really well. Another new feature is the bonus goals which appear at random, these vary in degrees of difficulty and reward and can be strategically completed or ignored. Like the other two game there is an upgrade system which means there is some replayability as some of the levels are really difficult to complete with a gold medal without some upgrades.
The Bad- Of the new features the only one I didn't like is the rapid click "killing" system (rat etc appears at random you have to click your mouse on it repeatedly to kill it). Featured in lots of time management games this mechanic baffles me, I find it very tedious and arbitrary and was disappointed to find it added to this game. Presumably some people like this though so that's fairly subjective.
Another niggle I had was with the way the bonus goals system worked. Like the previous game the time doesn't start here until you make a move, however bonus goals will appear in this non timed part and often I found myself staring at the screen waiting for a "good" bonus goal to come up before I started playing. This is very bad game design, we paid to play the game not stare at the screen.
The REALLY bad- The UI (User interface) very nearly ruined this game for me. in the previous games when you hovered over/clicked on a unit an info panel came up as well as a button to sell or upgrade. It worked perfectly. For some reason the developers have got rid of this system and replaced it with a horrible one where clickling on any part of the building upgrades it. This game is much more fast paced than the rest which lead me to make a lot of mistakes. This isn't helped by the fact that demolitions and upgrades cannot be cancelled. The game has the building cash bonuses present in earlier games and attempting to collect these further adds to the frustration.

Painful game!
Was good on the hour trial so bought it. But then there is so much clicking needed with the mouse that I had to stop playing as my arm became painful. Regret buying this and won't jump in so fast again!! Advise not to purchase as you won't be able to finish the game unless your arm is bionic!!

What were you thinking?
Be Rich and Be Richer quite entertaining. Play them often. Be Richest is irritating. Get the impression they rushed it out to capitalize on the earlier games and didn't spend enough time on it.Ten mins into the trial and not sure I can be bothered. I generally like Time Management and like many others I don't like Hidden Object Games of which Big Fish has oh so too many!!. But they've gone backwards with this one. Seems they've tried to be different for the sake of it and they've gone worse not better. Graphics, music, game play are all worse than the earlier games. Annoying, as when I saw this I thought great a sequel, but it's not great. Might not finish the trial which says something as a buyer of all the earlier ones.

Be Rich is Back
Loved the first BR and was very disappointed when they added too much confusing options to the next ones. This one is quite as good as the first one. The graphics are clear and bright and to be able to speedup the building process was something I have waited for ages! And the map with your city in miniature deserves an extra point. It is an fast game with many new buildings in every level. A little less would have worked better for my taste. There are still too many informations going on during the game which makes it a little bit stressful . For those who like it more varied - it will be perfekt.

Great Change Of Pace
Just the right level of challenge - many levels are successful on the first try while some of the others make you think.
They did a nice job with the personal level business and home screen also. Love the telescope overlooking the sea upgrade.
Bought it after around the 30 minute mark, who can resist booting criminals? LOL

Pretty good game
This is based on the demo only.
I thought this game was OK. I thought the other Be Rich/er games were OK too. Not brilliant, but enjoyable.
For me, these games lack creativity. It works great as a standard building game, just not enough scope and freedom of play for me to buy it. Might be good to use a credit on.
I am glad to see something, anything other than standard HOG games. For me, this will go in my 'someday maybe' pile.
I had no tech issues, the tutorial was decent, the levels seemed to move up smoothly. I almost never play games with the music on, or if I do, very low. This one had a really annoying YEA!!! sound that was louder than the rest of the game and that was irritating.
This sounds like a poor review, but I really did think it was a FINE building game, just not fun enough for me personally.

Another Triumph in the Be Rich Series! Loved it.
I loved the first 2 games in this series; Be Rich and Be Richer, but I thought this one was the best. It was challenging to reach the gold goal after the 15th level or so, then it got even harder. If you like a challenge, this is for you. If you love time mangament games, this is your cup of tea! Very excited to get 2 awesome tm games this week! Hope Big Fish keeps it up! Highly recommend it!

Fantastic game!
I'm getting a little tired of the hidden object games so when this one came up as a new release I was thrilled. The plotline is interesting, there's many bonuses to each level (police badges, snow globes to earn). Overall a cute game, kept me entertained and bought it without hesitation :)

Disappointing
I loved the previous games so I bought this one without even trying it. Mistake. The frenetic pace means strategy element has almost disappeared. There is too much going on to plan your moves. The addition of button clicking to get rid of the pests is entirely unwelcome in my opinion. The way you upgrade by clicking on the building leads to a lot of errors during gameplay. I can't see that I will ever be able to get gold on all levels (certainly not without getting serious arm problems!)
Try before you buy!

Disappointing 3rd version
Be Rich and Be Richer are fantastic, play them often, Be Richest is terrible. Too much clicking, confusing logic in storyline, incomplete explanation. Is there a bug in the program? Even when i upgrade a building to 3 stars and surrond it with groceries the shopping chart keeps on popping up and i can do nothing to stop it.
