Is it really a curse?
Interesting plot with cool puzzles and some nicely done HOS
3 modes of gameplay: casual, advance and hard
Strategy guide
There is only a journal, sadly no map because I was a little bothered due to constant moving back and forth in search for different clues
Puzzles are definitely what makes this game worth playing, cleverly designed, challenging, and also besides some well known there are some new and really fun to solve
HOS are good, classic, no interaction, good visibility, but over all nothing special
I must say that graphics are quite remarkable, creepy locations are done very well, no dark areas with bad visibility, clear scenes
Music is ok, creepy sound effects really made atmosphere to be more intense
As for the storyline, nicely put together, kept my attention through the game
Verdict: definitely try it out, because for me this adventure was worth spending time on!

Do You Enjoy a Good "Snoop"?, Adventure Lovers Should Enjoy This!
Expansive search area with lots of adventure, places to go and things to snoop in! Heavy on adventure, with some HO. HO are very well integrated, some monochromatic ?bluish/gray?, does hide items well. Puzzles are interesting and vary from the regular we normally get, and slightly more difficult than usual.
Voice over throughout the game, and it is well performed. Integrated strategy guide, journal, and no map. The search area is expansive and a map would have been nice to help remember what is where, or even teleport.
There are 3 options to play and advanced did not have sparkles! You are able to access the option to change play difficulty any time while playing. The hint button does take a while to fill (3 minutes?). Music is pleasant enough, but I?ve never had issues with music in these games. You have the option of turning it off. WIDE SCREEN!!! And it filled my 15? laptop.
Graphics are painted, well done if a little on the blurry side (think they do this to try and make it more ?spooky?). While slightly blurry, still clear enough to enjoy.
It?s exciting, spooky and if you like adventure/investigating pure enjoyment.

Ghost story !!!
Played 40 minutes casual, I see that we can't mention the name of the devs so I'll just say they're new to me.
-3 game play modes, casual, advanced, hard, you can swap from one to another while playing
- Integrated SG top left of your screen, it stays on the page you leave. It only shows 2 chapters
- Voice-overs, music OK
- Note book
- No map
- Hint is an owl, less than a minute to refill, not too useful outside H0, at least tells you there's nothing to do where you are
- Skip button
- HO, a lot of them, you don't interact. Some of them are pretty dark and objects are not easy to spot.
- Mini games not over difficult (only had one in 40 minutes)
- Very good graphics
Long time I hadn't seen a car stopped by a ghost !! Same old story of a ghost (?) cursing a family. The game looks easy to play, enjoyable. A buy.

GOOD ADVENTURE/PUZZLE/HIDDEN OBJECT GAME!
This is a fun game. The action is evenly spaced between puzzles, HOS and finding items to move the game along. The puzzles are great. I especially like the skull lock. And the HOSs are yummy! Lots of different textures and materials - metal, organics, glass.
The strategy guide is readily available which I find very helpful since I don't always know which way to go next.
And the music is spooky, dark and edgy. Fits very nicely with the story.

Great game! You TOTALLY get your money's worth on this one! Worth the CE IMO
This game was awesome! The playtime alone makes it worthy of the CE price. The plot is interesting and the story line is dark and fun (just how I like it!)
I played this game all day today (literally) and just finished the bonus game. It was really enjoyable. The puzzles are not too bad but skipable if you get stuck.
There are a lot of HOS and some of the items are pretty hard to see because of the graininess of the images, but again, the hint recharges fairly quickly.
There are a lot of different scenes and the game is quite long. I used the SG a good bit because I was in a "what do I do now" kinda place, and unfortunately, there is no map to zip back and forth with. That is really my only gripe with this game. Otherwise, I HIGHLY recommend it! Great game and very fun and worth the CE IMO.

Wait For The SE Version!
Perhaps I have outgrown the basic HOPA games that still feature outdated graphics, alot of back tracking and a story that has been used over and over again. Mystery Heritage is just that, absolutly not worth the CE price tag. The story is old, Family curse (or is it?), a mysterious suicide and a detective out to find the truth. Game features three modes of gameplay, a journal, voice-overs and music that is on a loop. The graphics are crisp, art-work consists of old style animation, voice-overs are decent but no sound effects which all put together, pervented me from immersing myself into the story. As a result, I just put myself on auto mode and whizzed through the entire demo trial well within the hour. Visually the entire game looks out of style, perhaps because lately graphics have reached a new level with so many games we have been seeing lately. Game mechanics is very rudimentary, seek and find objects, HO scenes that are have no interaction and no map so expect alot of back-tracking. The mini- games are uniquely designed, most we have seen over and over. There are no bells and whistle that we have expect from a CE like collectables, achievements or awards. Unfortunately this game is really your basic Standard Edition Game that sadly lacks a challenging gaming experience. Hard-core players will be disappointed whereas, new-commers may find it interesting. I do not recommend this game and do recommend that you save your pennies, and spend a credit on the SE version when it becomes available.

LOVED IT !!!
Its nice to be first to review a game. My review is only based on the demo. Basically you are investigating a curse. The graphics are great, the HOS scenes are good you really have look for the items. The puzzles I encountered in the demo are challenging made you think which is what I like. This tells me the rest of the game is definitely something to look forward to. You are going back and forth a bit but I don't mind that. The music isn't bad to listen to either but if you don't like it you can always mute it. If you get really stuck there is a built in strategy guide. As I said I have only played the demo but I would definitely put this on my list to buy So go on give it a try you'll love it I did

fantastic game!
I just have to say how much I enjoyed this game! The graphics are superb, the story line is great & I didn't really find anything I didn't like. The music was even good; spooky to go with the game. My hour was up way too soon & this is a definite buy for me.

Been there, done that; got the T-shirt
This is your standard HOG with the over-worked story line about a family curse, a witch seeking revenge, townspeople in an uproar. The hidden object scenes are incredibly easy and offer no challenge whatsoever. The music is repetitive and annoying. The mini-games are ones that have been used over and over again (move the red balls to the blue balls slots). I would recommend this game only to very beginner players and certainly don't think it is worth the CE price tag. This is a "no buy" for me.

Didn't Appeal to Me
This game was actually a real bore. Despite all the good reviews, I didn't find myself getting in to this game much.
Good Parts:
Tutorial very helpful.
Hint recharges very fast.
Built in strategy guide.
Great graphics, very clear, lots of detail and very modern.
Obvious what to do next.
OK Parts:
Didn't like the Hidden Object Scenes very much. Would've liked some variation, and maybe an interactive object or two.
Would've liked some puzzles.
Bad Parts:
The storyline was boring. Maybe these guys could come up with a new theme? I mean, the ghost themes have been used a milllion times. The intro completely bored me, and I didn't get the storyline.
An overall boring game.
Repetitive, with no variation at all.
The game was just slow and annoying at times.
Overall, the game was just dull and boring. Really did not appeal to me at all. Skip this one.
