Really enjoying this game Its often the little touches that make a game stand out from the rest. There are some clever animations in this game and I love the real actors.. Playing advanced mode there's some hand holding but the challenge is still ok. Excellent graphics, and well done HO scenes. I'm really enjoying everything about it...not too many games keep me wanting to play to the end like this one does. June 1, 2012
AWESOME The game is AWESOME storyline is great and I just love the graphic, they are clear and clean....not fussy. Your able to see the HOG items clearly and not have to get a magnifying glass to see them. Theres alot of back and forth but thats what make the game interesting and keeps you on your toes. Cant wait till I get paid next so I can buy and finish this game. Its on my must buy list. May 31, 2012
I Loved it! Wow! I really can't understand why this game don't have a 5 star rating! I enjoyed this game immensely. It was the perfect blend of HO and Adventure. I get so bored of the games where every turn you take there is a HOS. This was not like that at all and most of the puzzles were unique and not the same run of the mill ones you find in all HO games. I really didn't want it to end, and I am already looking forward to re-playing it again! June 2, 2012
Dark Heritage: Guardians of Hope C.E This was an ok game.Nice graphics, nice sounds.I have to admit the introduction sequence was good and interesting to say the least.However...The storyline I already heard it before in another game that( eerily) has a similar storyline.I'm not saying that the storyline is bad but,I would've liked if the developers of this game would've come with a different approach for the story. There wasn't that much of a challenge in this game...HO's were very easy and it was very straight foward you already know what you have to do.As for fun factor...It's ok kind of a relaxing game. This game to me is not a CE but more of a SE.Even though i think the game is ok in every aspect...It doesn't want to make me buy it ,I'll skip this one. Great Hidden Object Game! Overall it plays well and is fun. The minigames are doable. June 1, 2012
A wonderful game! Love the games that come from these developers and this new one is just as good. I like that it is story driven and that from the start you find yourself wondering if the madman might just be Professor Child who brought you to Cannon Rock in the first place. There is a good mix in the types of puzzles in the game and lots to do that I like. Hope everyone will give the game a chance for themselves and not reject it just because of a review. May 31, 2012
The Best Ever! Using real actors in the cut scenes, genius. I had goosebumps from the beginning scenes. I'm playing it very slowly so it will last longer. Not to say it too short. Just prolonging the fun. May 31, 2012
Engaging story and good gameplay! The opening scenes in this game are very well done...great voiceover, a bit of intrigue, and it makes you feel like the world will stop turning if you don't play the game and save the world as we know it. The options list is generous and provides sliders for music and sound, as well as offering a full-screen option, a cursor option, a game difficulty option, a voiceover option, and aspect correction. I find that very generous and it should provide what just about every game player would ask for. The voiceovers are good...but there is a time or two when the words you hear are not in sync with the person who is speaking..and live actors are used, which I find more engaging than the drawn ones. The hint system is helpful both in and out of hidden object scenes. The hidden object scenes are typical junkpile, with most items fairly easy to see, but a few very well hidden. The hint button recharges very quickly..about 30 seconds in the regular game mode I played in. The integrated strategy guide stays open where you left off, but goes back to the beginning once you leave the game, so you have to find where you left off every time you start the game again. That is one of the negatives for me....for the game.as long as I'm playing with the same profile, the guide should stay where I leave it when I leave the game..but this one doesn't. The puzzles/mini-games are along the line of most, with a few new twists here and there and all are skippable in about a minute. The story and gameplay move along nicely with some back and forth travel, so wear your walking shoes. There is a diary that keeps your notes, but nothing that allows you to jump from place to place...so pay attention to where you are in the game..lol..or you'll get lost like I did. Thank goodness for the strategy guide or I'd still be rambling about in the game. In the story, a much-loved teacher/mentor has summoned you to a place to help get rid of a bad guy and secure the Philosopher's Stone....with a nifty ending and decent bonus play. Overall..an engaging story, good voiceovers, good graphics and animations, fun interaction in hidden object scenes, and good length of play..for me...around 6 and 1/2 hours...but I'm a slow player..check everything out..never in a hurry. Try the game if you want a neat story and great gameplay with a few twists and turns that you just don't expect. June 4, 2012
Dark Heritage Guardians of Hope Collectors Edition Hi: I think that this game has a good story line, good graphics and is a long playing game. You get your money's worth with this game. I have been playing this game off and on for two days and have just reached the extra game play. Fantastic. I would recommend this game. Stitch333 June 1, 2012
Immensely Enjoyed! This was a fantastic game and I stretched my play over three days simply because I didn't won't a good thing to end. I enjoyed the accompanied story and cut scenes. This game ranks as one I will replay again and again. Thanks for the hard work and look forward to another game. June 3, 2012
