Front Row Theater Seats! A BFG Fan of the Agency of Anomaly series, you are up front and center in a new paranormal investigative case. I'm sure you'll appreciate, as I did, the crisp, clear graphics and vibrant colors; all of which go "easy-on-the-eyes" in this newest masterpiece. The opening scene and storyline holds promise for more mystic fun that just keeps getting better and better. With a birthday around the corner, this is a perfect game to add to my collection. Thanks BFG! Enjoy! -Mama Mia- September 13, 2012
Very good game to play I really like this game and I loved the puzzles, there is so much to do in the trial time that all 60 minutes went by too fast, I like games with hidden object and puzzles to solve, it makes playing a game more interesting than only hidden object scenes I will be buying this game because I feel there is a lot of game play to it being a CE. Game was ok Well after finishing the game, I have came to the conclusion that I wished I had waited for the SE to come out and played that instead. I would have been fine with game ending where it ended before the bonus game. The main reasons being the mini games and the HOS scenes. They kept repeating themselves, and began to get on my nerves, and it wasn't long before I couldn't wait to get the game over and done with..I got the feeling the devs felt the same way.. I am not sure if I played the same game as everyone else But I disliked it. Actually I more than disliked it, i quit the game before my hour trial ended. 44 minutes and probably at least 15 of those on a mini game. Perhaps my experience is biased because of my setup. I played without ZERO hints/skips, lowest music setting and third lowest setting of sound effects. I also like to pick up objects and not being told "this is an ax" and then later "I could use an ax on this" (neither of those are actual prompts as far as I know- but you get the point). Too much talking, too many word windows popping up, no storyline, no replay on how to use the magic items, it was just annoying. some positives involved the attractive visuals, the junk piles were very detailed, the mini game(s) were challenging! I am going to wait for the SE, try it again, and if I like it, then I will buy it. I am generally a fan of these games too! September 14, 2012
Really good HO game...with some irritants. :o) This was a really good game. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was able to complete most of the mini-games, but did have to skip a few that were just too tedious for me. The Positives: The storyline was good. Visually, I completely loved the game! The game was definitely long enough, for me. I believe I played for 5ish hours. My biggest complaints were: 1) I HATE having to close a pop-up every. single. time. you pick up an object. That drives me absolutely insane. There's no need for it. and 2) the bass sound that played every time you found an object in a HO scene became really annoying...to the point that I eventually turned the sound off. I could possibly have a #3 (the constant back and forth - find one object just to click 10 times back to one area just to do one thing then click back 10 more times back to where you found the object)...but all games do that so what's the point in complaining? lol Overall, a very fun game and worth the money! ONCE AGAIN GREAT! Great continuing on story, Artwork was great.. Puzzles where well done. Voices are done well, the story told by them was fun. Once again JOB WELL DONE !! September 13, 2012
Excellent third game in the seiries Almost don't buy Collector's Editions anymore these days, but this one I did, since I've played the first two 'Anomalies' and really liked them. This one's a success too. Original storyline, atmospheric colours, interesting locations and H0 scenes with different styles of searching. Really worth the money. The reasons I'm not giving 5 stars though, are the repetitive minigames in the bonusgame plus a bit too much back tracking. September 14, 2012
Surprisingly Disappointing I was completely ready to love this game. I had playing the Cinderstone Orphange version, and I was excited to see the next installment. I quickly found that this version had everything that I had disliked about the previous game, with none of the benefits. While I understand that there is a lot of walking around in games of this nature, it goes too far! At a certain point in the game, the game will only make one object available at a time. You must go through the entire house to get to the location for an item, to then go through the entire house to use it, to then go back through it again for the next one. The only reason the game took me a while to complete was all the walking back and forth. The puzzles were not that challenging, and the plot line became highly predictable. I never thought that I would say this, but do not waste your time. You are better off playing a number of other HOA that aren't as predictable or repetitive. October 1, 2012
The best Anomaly yet! The Agency of Anomalies games have everything, as reviewers have said; the right balance of puzzle, adventure and H0S with wonderful graphics. H0S scenes are, once again, nicely divided between the usual list and interaction, silhouette and 'put the item in the appropriate place'. There are 31 collectible records to look out for and awards to win. And there's also humour. The music plays along nicely and the running backwards and forwards isn't excessive. I always feel that I get my money's worth with these games and this one kept me happily entertained for hours. September 16, 2012
great fun game play it Another in the series and a good game. I got the SE based on reviews. The graphics are good and has voice over which I like. The HOS are not all that hard but you do need to look hard for some. My only complaint is that you have to keep going back and forth with finding and using clues. The finding clues are not hard and seem to be in logical sequence. This is a fun and enjoyable game to play and buy. May 18, 2013
