BORE! I was bored within about 5 minutes...this game is not complicated in any way, shape, or form. Story line was okay, I never really got into it though. Graphics were fine, the fun factor just was not there for me...way too easy. Glad I did not buy! August 6, 2012
didn't like it slow, boring, lame, just not very good. July 26, 2012
note to self: try game before buying based on reviews! Got all excited as such a high percentage raved about this game and bought it straight off. I was yawning 5 mins into the game. The hidden object games must have been designed for a 5 year old and the story was real brain teaser at all. The graphics were quite fabulous if you can stay awake long enough to watch.Made me think after years of playing these games maybe its time for a switch. August 2, 2012
Wish I Could Say I Love It, But... This was a pretty dreadful follow-Up to the first in the "Surface" series. I think the game makers were over ambitious and just missed the ball completely. The 1st Surface knocked the ball out of the park and was a pure joy and fun to play. So sadly, this game tried too much to be clever and really missed it's target, meaning: They let the concept get too far ahead of the logistics of the game's development from the perspective of it's perspective audience... It's the difference between an orchestra warming up and playing in harmony together. Unfortunately, in this game all of the instruments were playing at the same time - as loud as they possibly could - without a conductor, with no sheet music, and oblivious to its audience. I really wish I could give the Surface sequel a great review (for I L-O-V-E-D the last), but sadly... I sincerely can not. July 26, 2012
Scratch the Surface Lesson learned--play demo for myself before purchasing based on reviews. Could be one of the worst games ever played. Story line was so far fetched and boring, I did not finish even halfway through and I'm no quitter, however, I do value my time. Amazed at all the reviews. Seems I'm in the minority--which is not totally unusual. There are so many much better games and so many better games. My best advice is to play the demo. Enjoy! -Mama Mia- April 10, 2014
