CREEPY ADVENTURE This game was so much fun I did not want the end to come!!! I loved the fact that there were not 101 HOS as a matter of fact there were none. The game was not that difficult to figure out but not too easy either. I found myself chuckling out loud at some of the stuff that happens. I do not want to say too much cause I do not want to spoil it for anyone who has not played yet. You do need to scan the scenes and look for things you need to interact with, but it makes sense to use certain items for certain tasks. The live actors also make this game even better. The music is just okay kind of carnival like. I am so happy I purchased this game I will definately play again. Great job ERS keep more like this coming. January 1, 2013
Dark and awesome! Well, as a massive dobermann fan, I was doomed since their first appearance... :D But anyway, oh my! It is an absolutely beautiful, haunting game. No hogs in it, but that's okay, you have a lot to do even without them. The graphics is darker than usual, it fits the story. Voice overs and actors are perfect, especially the old man with the white beard! :) The story was really strong, sometimes a little hard to follow. Screensavers and screenshots are awesome, still use them. My only little problem was that we had to use those brooches (or what) many a time the same way. December 19, 2012
Fantastic Immersive Atmosphere... As with most HO games the storyline is "crazy" but that aside I thoroughly enjoyed this game as the immersive atmosphere was great! My favourite visual being the ginger cat ... made me laugh. Music great and overall a very enjoyable several hours in a 'different world'. Thank you ERS. November 19, 2012
Kind of a Disapointment Well, I am surprised. This game started out interesting and ended poorly. While it wasn't the best game beginning ever, it was at least 4 stars until about three quarters in when it became very easy and very hard (by which I mean the few puzzles were beyond hard but everything else was very easy). The ending was very anticlimactic and almost pointless with very little explanation either during the game or at the end. I am still not exactly sure what the point was and who did what. I was so board, I didn't bother to do the bonus chapter and probably won't ever. I just don't care. The music was grinding, never really changing and very annoying. I had to mute my computer many times because it was just too much to handle. The lack of voice overs was shocking and just brought the game down another notch. This game had all the makings of a great, spooky adventure but failed every time. The graphics are another bone to pick. I almost like them, except for the constant flashing. If they had stopped that (maybe done it once or twice every 2-4 minutes) I don't believe I would have a headache right now. I am actually very sorry I bought it (a first for me for when I try out a game first and end up hating it). I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the environment was actually kind of creepy and some of the story was actually pretty good. However, it isn't worth even using a free game code on. Don't waste your time on this one, there are so many better ones out there! September 25, 2012
I was not a big fan I found this game redundant, illogical and frustrating. It was either too simplistic or impossible to follow. The bonus chapter was a complete waste of time. I am sorry I paid extra for it. It was however, beautifully drawn and I thought the scenes were alluring. It sad that there was almost nothing to do in most of them. September 21, 2012
Good but needs tighter story. To me, I've found that there's another developer that's proven that they're the master of gorgeous graphics, but this developer has proven themselves to be very adept at crafting games that are very good at puzzles and out of the box thinking for the adventure. (*sigh* Wish they could get together...) Anyway, I did enjoy the game based on the thinking part of it as noted above. That said, I have to say that the storyline started out very promising and held my attention. After a while though I lost track of some of how it fit together. I don't want to spoil the story for you, but I will say this: I like ghost stories but I wish that developers/writers would sometimes skip the sci-fi stuff like soul sucking machines etc, and stick with a natural realistic story. To me, people doing evil things in our ordinary world are scarier than some fantastical stuff. So this kept the game from being a 5 star. If they would have only tightened the story and made it real world scary like it started, I would have rated it higher. I still enjoyed it though and recommend it for those who like an adventure with lots of places to explore. Oh, another thing -- I found a four leaf clover in one of the scenes. Look for it; I hope you find it too! September 15, 2012
A few glitches I ran into a few little glitches in the game. It locked up and I had to exit the game and come back in twice. And at one point I had a white box on the screen where an item should have been. I went to another location and came back and it was corrected. All in all I really enjoyed the game and was glad the the bugs were easily "fixed." Good game. August 22, 2012
Finally an adventure game with out hidden object Scenes I was o the verge of canceling my Big Fish membership because I simply could not take one more HOG with endless hidden object scenes. This is an adventure game that makes you think but yet is not difficult enough for you to need a Strategy Guide or walkthrough. The story line is interesting, the voice overs are very well done and the graphics are decent. There is some going back and forth but not overly so. The objects you collect are used, so you are not walking around with items in inventory that are of no use. This game is and SE so it's well worth the money. If you are tired of HOGs, I highly recommend this game. June 25, 2012
Worth to play Nice game, scray storline, but some puzzles are annoying, some of them are too easy. Overall - it is a good game with lots of thing to do. June 24, 2012
