Simple HOG
I found this game uninspiring. There is nothing new and the dialogue attempt to be funny falls short (for which I downgraded). That being said, the graphics are good and I will admit that the storyline has a slightly different twist in that the vampire is a fake. It might appeal to those who prefer straight HOGs with only a little adventure. The hint system works good, going so far as to tell you what should be done and where ? just like having a built-in guide. More games would benefit with this attribute so that we don?t have to prowl the web to find out what to do when we are irretrievably flummoxed. I might play this game if I had nothing better to do, but I don?t see that happening with all the games I have. It?s not a bad game, it?s just that there are so many better. 2.8 stars.

Fun spooky game, different than most vampire plots.
I got more than I expected from this SE! Lots of fun hidden object scenes and mini games, lots of fun tasks to complete. Loved the comments of my player, also loved the bats when you jump from scene to scene, great to have that option too !
The characters are a little stilted, but I'd rather have that than human "actors" and voiceovers. The rest of the graphics are nicely creepy and gothic.
played on expert mode, nice not to have sparkles or obvious black box hints.
will definitely buy the sequel!

Had fun with the game, played thru in 4 hours very easily. Going to try the difficult level....

A fun game overall!
I wasn't sure about this one having read the other reviews but decided to give it a go and am really glad I did.
No the puzzles are not particularly challenging and the HOS pretty straightforward, but there are lots of areas to explore and things to do. I liked the story and the fact that the characters address you directly by name. As other reviewers have said some of the comments are also quite funny.
Sometimes you don't want to exercise your brain too much, you just want to play a nice game which makes you smile and this does exactly that!

Don't Let The Short 30min Demo Fool You!
Usually, when a developer offers only a 30 minute trial, it means the game is short. However, I totally got immersed in the story and decided to take a chance on buying this one. Am I ever glad I did!!
The storyline is engaging -- I was hooked right away. There are no voiceovers, which would have been nice, but the absence of them does not detract from the game. Graphics are crisp and fit the tone of the game. Music is not irritating which was a plus. Hints recharge quickly as does the Skip button. Minigames are different and some were quite a challenge, but can be skipped if you get too frustrated. There's a map and a journal which are really helpful.
But what I loved most about the game, in addition to all the above, was that my name was incorporated into the story and the characters talked directly to me. I thought that was pretty cool. And the fact that my character has a great sense of humor also added to the fun of playing this game.
There are two modes of gameplay and if you collect at least 20 lions, you can play the bonus minigame at the end. All in all, a very entertaining game -- I highly recommend it.

Snarky Dracula narration
the game is fast and very decent
the reason i bought it was it was snarky and somewhat fun
some days call for snark...lol
and who doesnt love dracula exploits

Sunday Surprise - Very Fun SE Game
After playing the demo, I knew this was a "buy" for me. I think the graphics are great and the game completely fills the screen of my widescreen laptop.
The puzzles are fun and some are unique. I find the story to be interesting and look forward to finding out more as I progress.
Thanks BFG for another "Sunday Surprise". It's very nice to find a good quality, fun SE game.

A beginners game
This game may be a good game for beginners, but when I took the nail out from the sign at the gate, in the beginning and it fell to the ground for me to pick it up, and then I had to play a HOS to retrieve it again, I had enough. It is not a challenging game. You have to collect lions throughout,I usually like collecting, but I can't handle this game. I lost interest. But go ahead and try, that's when the 1 hour trial either makes it or breaks it

enjoyable hidden object story - sad to come to the end of the demo. buy for me
played the demo - hint charges quickly. some of the objects I found hard to find in the HOS but overall was happy with game and was able to follow the story without wondering what I was supposed to be doing next. recommend this game 9/10

A Very Fun Game!
This is a really fun game! I love the graphics and music is ok. HOS with puzzles that are not too difficult but I like the storyline very much. It's smart and curios! Good choice for vampire stories lovers)
