Jack the Ripper was probably less painful than this game.
This is going by the demo. Thank God I didn't purchase it. It was terribly aggravating trying to maneuver around. once you do locate the place you are to go to, you can use the map to go back & forth. The map is illegible, to me at least. I enjoy a good mystery game, and the fact it's based upon a true story, made it sound that much better.
I quit playing before the demo was up. Was just too frustrating to me. Esp with the cohort constantly running behind you. I didn't get the purpose in that.
I had to use a walk through I found online, just to get as far as I did. I didn't buy it nor do I want to.

Excellent Game
Outstanding and wonderful game. For those who love the mystery, the adventure and the creepy atmosphere, this game is the one. You' ll love it and enjoy it till the end.

I actually kinda liked it.
I lost my taste for adventure games with the 2nd Siberia. Having to talk to the same person seven times before I could proceed to the next part of the game, I mean was this some kind of joke? Boy was I P..., I mean angry.
I have only played the demo, and there dosn't seem to be any type of irrational things to do.
Once I remembered how to move around, I started to injoy the game.
I have always been a big fan of Sherlock Holmes, and I'm obsessed about Jack - the - ripper stuff. I'm so injoying this game.

very hard
I didn't like that game it was complicated and hard to understand. I didn't even finish my demo.

Hated this from the start.
First of all, many minutes are spent in story. Much of it is not even needed. There must have been at least five minutes of story. At least that's what it felt like.
This is one of those games where the character walks around the room like an idiot unless you steer him in precisely the right direction. After having Watson walk around and not getting anything done I gave up.
I don't have patience for this game.

"What are we doing Holmes?"
Far too many unmarked areas. Why doesn't the map show where you are? Spent half an hour trying to get out of the police station courtyard before I realized the yellow dot wasn't me. :-((

No fun in this Game!
The graphics made me dizzy and its a slow process. The game doesn't have anything fun about it except for the title, it seems like it should be great but its boring.

Sherlock Homes vs Jack the ripper
The game realy sucks. It has no menu & no way to exit when u want to leave the game All it does is go in circles no puzzels nothing. If this game has bugs in it get them out. I have the other Sherlock Homes Games & they are Exellentbut this one's Terrible . don't waste u r money or free games on this one.

Not worth the download time!!
Horrible!! One of the worst I have ever tried to play. No real story except in the "notes" and all you do is wonder around and around. All doors outside are locked except the Police Station and that was useless as well. I wouldn't play this game again even if it were free. What a waste of an hour trial. Good thing I did't purchase it. Although I know BigFish would have given me a new one if I told them about my experience. I use BigFish exclusively because they want me to be happy and offer the best games.
