Missing boy-friend !!!
Played 20 minutes, casual
- 2 modes , casual and expert
- Notebook
- Map which you get shortly after playing a bit, you can jump from one place to the other
- 2 kind of inventories, regular one and keepsakes inventory where you gather clues for mini games, you click on a flower, bottom left, to get it
- Integrated SG which stays on the page you leave, it only shows two chapters
- Live characters
- Voice overs, which is a shame as you soon wish Edwina would shut up...
- Very nice music in the opening of the game
- Hint refills quickly, useful outside H0 unfortunately with Edwina's voice...
- Skip button
- Mini games easy up to what I played
The story is another one of a missing boyfriend kidnapped by evil ones. Not sure I will buy the CE, and this Edwina's voice...Her boy-friend should be thankful to have been kidnapped, at least he won't hear her for a while, may be 300 years if I don't finish the game !!!!!!!!!

More like this please!
If all HO/adventure games were like this one and its predecessor, I would never get anything done. I love the story, the graphics were gorgeous, and the difficulty level was just right for me playing in advanced mode. I also enjoyed collecting the strawberries, even though I missed some, it will be a pleasure to play the game again to get the ones I missed.
There are a lot of voice overs, which normally annoys me, but I thought in this game they fit well and didn't really interrupt the game play, but added to the atmosphere in general.
All in all an excellent way to pass some time and believe me time will fly when you're playing!

Not bad
This game has everything going for it, good visuals, a few HO's, and my favorite thing to do, solve puzzles. The puzzles range from real easy to a bit of a challenge, but when you dig a little you find the answer.
Now for the bad. To me it's very bad. You can't shut the broad up.
To be truthful, I didn't check out the options to look if there is a way to turn it off. But her talking really slows the game down.
I know, from reading the reveiws that most gamers don't like to read, and that's ok, but I love to read, and I'd rather do that than listen to yak, yak, yak.
I suggest trying it out, maybe the voiceover won't bother you.

Very Disappointing!
I have the first two Margrave games and enjoyed them both. This one, I'm not too sure about. The graphics, although very clean, were also very old school. The voice over was very high pitched and extremely annoying (the singer and the song in the beginning left a lot to be desired). Too much talking and not enough action.
The SG was way too wordy. Don't need hand-holding and an explanation of every item, step and thing to do. Too much rambling. Hint system was not helpful at all.
HOGs okay, with easy to find items. Games okay, nothing difficult or different.
Maybe I'm the minority here, but this game just didn't grab me at all. I found it tedious. No buy for me. Very disappointed.
I recommend this game, only because I personally did not care fo it, but you might. Give it a try and see what you think. Thanks for the reviews.

Super Star Game
I agree with Irishldy60 who said that she would give the game 10 stars if possible: well so would I.
Aside from the great graphics, puzzles and the storyline, I love the soundtrack. This game has the most relaxing music. I think I would play it over and over again, just to have the experience of the music and game sounds. Kudos to the developers - you have a winner IMO.
The game offers some challenging puzzles that are a bit different than those we often find in other games, and they are a great deal of fun. You get to think "out of the box" to make your way through this game and some of the puzzles.
Margrave: The Blacksmith's Daughter CE should provide hours of relaxing entertainment and IMO,is a very worthwhile purchase.

Miss it and regret it
This is a very good game. The mini games are challenging but interesting, the HOG are not difficult but you need to really look hard for some of the objects. The music is gentle and relaxing. I found myself really engrossed in this one. The story line is good with nice voices talking you through it. The hint button is good but not to reveling it gives you clues but you still have to work them out. This is an excellent all rounder.

Superb game
Everything about this game is lovely with the graphics being first class, the voice-overs are really good too,
There are two levels of play and in this game I'm playing on the most difficult which is just about right for me. There are some ho scenes but also so very different puzzles too. Puzzles that I haven't seen before,
The game also comes with a map and judging by the size of it makes me think the game will be a good length,
Up to now I am really enjoying playing this game and would highly recommend it.

Call This One INTERESTING!!
The one main adjective I could come up with on this continuation of the Margrave games was Interesting. There were so many "interesting" things about this one, from the opening with "singing" which is not your par for the course way games typically open, to the storyline being rather interesting about cyclops. I didn't care too much for the amount of voice overs the girl had throughout the demo but at least the graphics were beautiful and there was a good balance between adventure and HO scenes. The HO scenes were a bit difficult to find certain objects and some of the puzzles could be a little difficult playing in expert mode. All in all, the game was pretty good but not so sure that it's good enough to pay for the CE price.

I loved it!
I loved this game - the music, the voice overs, the graphics and especially the storyline. I actually got emotional at the end of the story -the meaning of the story touched me.
All in all a fun game!

Brilliant Game
I really loved this game -the art is outstanding, the music was great instead of the usual annoying music you get. A lot of humour also. I played without the strategy guide and so missed collecting strawberries (which you get extra play at the end for). I didn't mind going back to the beginning and replaying the game at all, which for most games I would not do.
