Monopoly Review
This is a great version of Monopoly! Absolutely wonderful! It is very intuitive but also offers plenty of help to make sure you know what to do. It doesn't take long to get into the flow of the game. I think that this version of Monopoly will be enjoyed by both the occasional player and the hard-core Monopoly fans - like me.
I worried that the 3D effects might be distracting or annoying. Instead, I thought that it added to the game and made it seem more like the real board game.
I've never written a review for a game, but this one is so awesome that I just had to share it.

Not Understanding Negative Reviews
This version of Monopoly is the best yet! To the people who say they don't like it because it is in a window, and not in full screen, check the settings! Full window is an option.
To the people that say that the motion makes them ill - I can certainly understand that. I guess because I am used to 3D games it doesn't bother me at all. Additionally, if you use the full screen option, the movement is more spread out, and not so intense, especially if your screen is on the larger size.
I love the animations. They are well-done and completely fluid. One of the best executed casual games I've seen, and I have been playing casual games a long time. I just finished playing the trial. I was the race car, and the computer was the little dog. When it was my turn, the car drove around the board making car sounds, and then breaking to a stop, even with a little smoke coming out of its muffler. The dog ran around the board, my 2-year-old daughter (watching from my lap) laughed every time the dog ran. Very nice touch.
Rolling the dice is awesome. You can actually *flick* the dice while they are in air to change the outcome. Another innovative touch.
You can make your own "house rules". I remember as a kid, fighting with my sisters and brothers over which house rules we were going to use and which ones we weren't. One that we always played was landing on GO doubled your pay, and so many more - they are all here.
This game is versatile, dynamic, eye-candy (unless it makes you nauseated, of course) and it is not sad playing against the computer because all of the tricks up this game's sleeve. You can actually play against 3 different computer players. I haven't tried that yet, and not sure I want to! =)
I love being able to make trades with other players. We didn't allow (or even aware of, I think) this when I played as a kid. It can really make the game a lot more strategic and gives you more options to control your destiny. Say, trading one of your properties for one that the computer offers so that you can get the monopoly and start building houses and hotels.
There are four different virtual rooms (maybe 5) that you can play the game, one was futuristic, one was from the 50s...they've really put a lot of thought, beautiful art and great coding into this game. It did not lag or freeze up even for a second.
If you've read all the negative reviews and decided to not even try it - I say give it a chance. I think you'll be happily surprised.

Fun with Monopoly
I've never had so much fun with a board game. Thanks for adding this one, it's great. I really don't play many board games, but the instructions were easy to follow.

A Boring Game of Monopoly
I love Monopoly and remember fondly hours spent playing the game with my family and friends. After having played this PC version, I come to a realisation, the fun part of Monopoly are arguments and commentaries made by my friends, hours of laughter and quips. I downloaded the game without any problem and recieved the english version. I decided to play the teacher mode where I recieved tutorial just so I can familiarise myself with the gamemechanics. The graphics are sharp, the music intolarable and game features three players. It is your standard US version of Monopoly with all the rules I knew. After a couple of plays, buying land, tradfing options, collecting rent and going to jail three times, I realized one thing, I missed my friends alot. This game just did not work for me, I got bored and frustrated and realised that boardgames need commentary, voice-overs and feedback. None of which you get from this game. One good thing about it, it did want me to call up my old friends and talk about our the old days when we use to get together and play.

Love monopoly but...
It may have been an incredible game but there's only one problem : the constant move of the screen which is, for me, horrible ! Gave me a "sea sick" syndrom ! It's sad 'cause it's a great game...

Not worth the vertigo
The graphics were technically great. In fact, the well-executed helicopter camera affect swooping around the board in '3-d' action meant I wanted to lose my breakfast about 30 seconds into the game.
If you suffer from motion sickness at all, you will likely want to give this one a pass.

Most mundane game of Monopoly I've ever played
I've bought and owned quite a few versions of Monopoly. It is a timeless game but this game is the pits.
For starters, it is extremely boring.
The music is annoying.
The game is set up to make everything seem complicated. You need the wordy, never-ending tutorial to figure out some aspects like trading.
The game is visually bright which isn't a bad thing.
What is bad is the board and camera. I can't deal with the spinning board.
It would have made sense to keep the board in place and have the pieces move. But no, the designer had to make me dizzy by doing a close up of the pieces moving and by turning the board. >.<
I couldn't figure out why there were random colorful silhouettes flashing on my screen either. It was weird.
This will be the ONLY Monopoly game that I do not own. What a pity.

Will never replace the real thing
If you have ever played the board game you won't have any problem learning to play the computer version. The action is slightly distracting but I could handle it. Played for about 30 min before getting bored playing alone. I think you need the human factor for this game to be enjoyable. Friends and family and a healthy dose of competition, wheelling and dealing your way to riches. This game can't do that for me.

Too Jumpy
I lasted about two minutes. First I didn't like that the game was in a windowed mode and not full screen. That may have been something I could get used to. However the constant movement continually interrupting my thinking was unbearable. I''ll stick to the cardboard table top game.

Good, But I would not buy
This is a good game if only you had three other players. Playing against a computer is no fun.
