good game challenges need to be abit harder ! October 25, 2012
Not impressed. I am not very impressed by the game. I do not like that it hasn`t HO-scenes. The graphics are somewhat childish. The story isn`t interesting. The puzzles I've played during the trial period were a little difficult, but I have not even impressed. I am not buying the game as the collectors edition, maybe not even the regular version. Not my thing. This one was not for me. The hint and skip buttons take a crazy long time to recharge and I need those! I am no world class gamer! No hidden objects even though it says it is a hidden object game. Still trying to figure that one out. It's a cool game, great graphics as always from ERS, but I couldn't play more than 10 minutes of it. October 25, 2012
twilight phenomena Pretty much the usual ers game except much easier. So far no really challenging puzzles, a pretty gruesome game and nothing to grab my attention. October 25, 2012
unfun game when it says hidden object game it should be mostly that, if i wanted to think i'd take a class. October 28, 2012
No hidden objects : ( While this is a good game...nice graphics...creepy story...I found the puzzles super easy and was bummed that there were NO hidden object scenes. I personally enjoy the HO and would have given this game 5 stars if it had them. I played the trial and then bought the game thinking the HO scenes would eventually come...which they did not.. Outdated, simplistic, illogical, boring! Not up to today's standards! Same old, same old, the only difference from their older games is that there are no H0 scenes. October 25, 2012
The game is NOT an interesting one! I didn't realize what was happening from the intro movie... Why we were running like in a shooter game... Some strange mention... Nothing was really interesting to me. I would not waste my money on it. I haven't found any HO scene but I like it. I lost interest after 10 minutes of play. This game is NOT for me.... Headless Bodies To bloody and gruesome for me. No thank you. October 25, 2012
Worth considering For once the story line takes place in the more modern 1980's than 1800's in a mansion offering a room for a more than reasonable rental rate - why? Once you begin investigating the mansion (after you sign the lease of course) you come across many not quite so copacetic offerings - like a head in a jar being kept alive that warns you to leave. I usually play the SE and CE versions of the trials to see if the game is hard enough to require a strategy guide (if one is available in the SE). I was surprised to see how far I had gotten and only used the strategy guide about 3 times and that was because I had forgotten where I had found items during the SE version of my play. I didn't find the game difficult but would advise beginners to get the CE version for the strategy guide. More experienced players, the bonus offers in the CE are a good lure. Glam-ma says this is a must buy. April 26, 2013
