The Best Game I've Played in a Long Time I am switching between casual and difficult mode just for the enjoyment of prolonging my game time.I can't get enough of it.Yes,it's challenging but so far have not needed a walkthrough, just patience.I love the storyline and the characters. The hint button is just helpful enough. Play the whole demo I was disappointed in EPIC Wishmaster. Part of the reason was because I thought it would be different from what it turned out to be. I bought it after playing the demo for 22min because it was colorful and seemed light-hearted. But not long after that point it turned bleak and stayed that way until the end. I suggest playing as far as you can during the demo so you can see more of what the game is really like and not just the beginning. There is quite a bit of death and dismemberment and turning people into cyborgs with occasional bits of humor that don't quite fit. It's sort of a cross between space opera and dark fantasy -- not what I think of as sci-fi and not a happy game at all. You can choose your ending, but both endings involve sacrifice. Supposedly having two endings makes the game replayable, but I have no interest in replaying it at all. The story often doesn't hang together and characters' actions don't always make sense. Solutions to puzzles also don't always make sense. The Hint is usually of some help, but not always. It's the type of hint that tells you what to do instead of which direction to go, but it wasn't always clear what the Hint was telling me to do and I ended up consulting the walkthrough. It took me about 3.5 hrs playing on casual, but then I cheated with the walkthrough. As far as my experience went, it was a two star game at best, but since other people found something to like about it, I'll give it 3 stars and a restricted recommendation -- just make sure you play the whole demo before purchasing. Not my cup of tea, but then, I don't care for tea. Story line is different for a change. HOGs are junk piles, but a little different game play while in them. Graphics not bad, but could be better..clean and clear. Game play nice, music okay. Choosing what to say in answer to a question is okay, but don't think it makes a difference on the outcome of the game. At least, it didn't seem to. This one definitely needs a walkthrough. One move does not give you a hint as to what to do next, or where to go next. This is not a bad game, but did not make me want to run out and buy it to see what happened next. Did not find it especially fun or challenging, but I'm sure others will. As with all other games, you need to try it for yourself and make up your own mind. I only recommend the game because the game play and such was nice. Thanks for the reviews. September 25, 2012
E.P.I.C. Gameplay I really was surprised with this game...Really liked having to solve many dilemmas to advance. Problems were logical but very tricky sometimes. Likes that.....The game play was that too. Would have loved to have seen the grafics done better though. Really liked it!! September 29, 2012
fun, fun, fun This is one game you have to try, nice change to have it set in space/floating island instead of the usual, asylum/hospital/mansion. Even though it has a fairly typical story line, girl kidnapped, must find truth/parent etc, it romps along and keeps you interested, theres so many things to look at, and I found the graphics to be fabulous in parts. The hidden object scenes were interactive, involving rotating boxes, emptying pools and opening cupboards, others have said they struggled with the size of the objects, but i had no problems seeing them on my laptop. I thoughly enjoyed playing it, and wish it had been twice as long as I didn't want it to end ! October 2, 2012
A little gem this one! I gave the game a go having read the other reviews and really pleased I did. The storyline is a different and although not the best graphics, they don't distract from the game imo. The puzzles varied in type and level of difficulty which was fab and the HOS really had you looking! The adventure itself was straightforward for the most part but there were times when I had no idea what I was supposed to do next, so had to A really good game which offers just the right amount of challenge for a lazy afternoon/evening. is a film. start to play and go on to find out how it ends, is not the classic hidden object, but much more is an adventure with many puzzles. accessible to the average player. can introduce to the large file. visual was not clear, only negative. you can choose the final of this opportunity to play again November 3, 2012
A bit different to the usual It's great when you come across something that isn't a carbon copy of every other game. I wanted to give this game 5 stars purely for its originality... but found there were too many shortfalls with it. Lovely graphics, and cut scene - however these played a little sluggishly on my computer. Hidden objects scenes were a little hard to see for some items, even using my mouse magnifier. A lot of opening cupboards etc which gave it that little extra challenge. Puzzles were slightly different to the norm, although some played sluggishly. Storyline was good, with a little surprise at the end - although i felt it ended slightly abruptly. Whilst not for everyone, I would definitely recommend it. October 11, 2012
a satisfying game with HO scenes as good as Madame Fate For every 100 detective-crashes-car there is one space game. No, make it for every 1000. So, this was by default fresh and original for space lovers who usually feel like they have been exiled in a Big fish St. Helena by developers. It is indeed original, especially in the "pure" space scenes and it also boasts challenging HO scenes, yes, almost as good as Madame Fate or Pure Hidden. Definitely recommended game. October 7, 2012
Dumb This game didn't make any sense to me. September 25, 2013
