E.P.I.C: Wishmaster Adventures
I played 30 minutes of the demo on easy and got stuck. Without better hints and a walkthrough, I can't recommend this game.

EPIC indeed, great original sci-fi adventure
There aren't many truly sci-fi HOPAs about, so I was so pleased to find this one, and it didn't disappoint. I found everything in this game dripping with originality, no mean feat with so many games on the market.
This game has a real adventure feel, it plays out like a movie, with you as the lead role. It is packed with a great array of imaginative characters, who you get to talk with interactively. The artwork is stunning, and the scenery is wonderful to play through. It's because of this I didn't miss a jump map, I was quite happy to enjoy the different environments.
You can play on casual or expert, and I really like the fact that your choice determines how hard the hidden object scenes and puzzles are. The hidden object scenes are really something else, you have scenes within scenes and have to move areas to search the whole thing, unlike anything else I've come across before. The puzzles and mini games were pretty much all totally novel, and I found them to be challenging but solvable, apart from that dratted caps game! I also found them to all be well related to the story, and designed to fit well to each task.
Inventory items need to sometimes be combined to complete a task, and I found solutions to tasks to be logical, unlike many games when you wonder 'Why can't I use this to open that?' etc
Just to put the icing on the cake, you choose the ending, and get a summing up of what happens to various characters as a result. I've just completed this for the second time, but will definitely be going back again at some point to see how things pan out if I make different decisions at the end.
I can genuinely say that there was nothing about this game that I didn't like, and I'm now on the hunt for more games by this developer. So, give it a go and settle in for a good, long adventure. Top marks all round!

This is a really good game. If you like easy games that hold your hand all the way through, then this may not be for you! It is a challenging game, and I had to use the hint button many times and a walkthrough several times.
It has a unique sci-fi storyline with puzzles and game play I have never seen before. The interactive hidden object scenes were especially creative. It has alternate endings so you could play it again and choose differently.

GHASTLY & JUST PLAIN AWFUL
Based on 15 min demo as it was all I could take! Graphics are cartoonish & music is abominable. The plot had no rhyme or reason & the hint button was a joke. After wandering around the game for 15 min I performed a mercy killing on the game & pulled the plug!! It's true that you can't cure stupid & this game proves it. A definite no buy...

This game held my interest because it is different. The music was a little irritating. It was just not my cup of tea.

well wasn,t what i expected, but different than most HOGs, though at times i got a little bored of not doing that much but i did plough on because it was intriguing as what would happen.

Do you want to be exasperated, frustrated, and generally p****ed? Have I got the game for you.
Yes, the story does not start off with a car crash - Hurray!
But the opening leaves much to be desired with few facts, little character development, and no animation or voice over.
The first puzzle was aggravating with the same hint being given even after I had used it. As for HOGs, there were not a lot of them - lucky for the player as several objects were invisible even with a hint. I ended up just clicking around that area till I got something - and this is with a huge monitor. The cartoonish drawing was without clear edges and definition for the objects.
I will say that I was severely challenged. If that's what you are looking for, go for it. I would have liked some desire to help the lead character. Without any motivation, I abandoned game.

What a disappointment
Tried it out first and the first hour was pretty good, bought the game and carried on, a further 15 minutes into the game and I was stuck, so stuck in fact that I had to create a new I.D and start the game from the beginning to get out of it, then les than an hour after that I finished the game, giving me a grand total of two and a half hours gameplay!! Very annoyed, too many of Bigfish's games are like this now. What happened to value for money Bigfish?

This is not your nomal HOG. You search for objects to use to open doors, etc. as usual, but it isn't always straightforward such as just finding a key. Sometimes, objects need to be combined before use, etc. Fortunately, the HINT button gives decent advice without being detailed. The HOS are difficult with many options - doors to open and close, etc. The artwork is the standard mediocre with next to zero characterzations. The story is really bad, being nonsensical and poorly told. I only played the demo, so I didn't run into too many puzzles. If you want something different and more difficult than your normal HOG, then this is worth a shot. Otherwise, I don't recommend it.
