Sweet Little M3 Game
This is a darling little game full of beautiful artwork and bright colors. It can be played in relaxed or untimed modes and in swap, chain or group M3 play. With the coins earned you purchase the accoutrement of a fairy-like town. So charming and playful. There are plenty of power-ups to be earned but I didn't really have a need for them in the demo I played. It's a game simple enough for children and appealing enough for a young-at-heart adult. There is a lively tune that I kept at a low level and, even though repetitive, it didn't get on my nerves.
I purchased the game as I found it to be quite relaxing and enjoyable. I definitely recommend you try it out for yourself.

One beautiful Match-3!
I enjoyed the trial hour very much. No surprise since Lost in Reefs by the same developers is one of my favorite M-3's.
Beautiful graphics, 3 modes of play (swap without having to click the 2nd tile  , chain, and group). There are several powerups which you earn as you make matches. The Shuffle button fills fairly quickly also as you make matches.
As you earn points, you can "build" your village. It's simplistic, with no choices other than to keep upgrading til complete. That said, it's a nice little break from the M-3. To my mind, it's beautiful in a whimsical fairytale way.
There is a choice of Timed or Relaxed which you can easily change. There are several trophies too. I didn't try the mini-game more than once since I was in the trial, so I wonder if the Snail Race is purely a matter of chance and intended just to be an extra little relaxation. Although there is a trophy for it too, so of course I'll do it often enough to win that one. :D
I played the trial in Timed mode so I learned how the game warns you that you are nearly out of time. It's a nice chime tone  , rather than the heart-beat thump which made me so nervous in Cradle of Rome and Cradle of Egypt. Still, even though it's a gentle warning, I'll likely play more of it Untimed.
I had a PCC expiring ini 4 days, so snapped up this beautiful relaxing game today.

GREAT GAME GREAT GRAPHICS
I love this game. The graphics are great, easy to see what they are and the music is nice and peppy and each game is a different type of match three and building your village is really neat because the graphics are fantastic.
I bought this one right off. I cannot say enough about this game..THANKS BIG FISH

Feels bland
This game is a variation on the match 3 citybuilding of Cradle Of Rome and similar series. The original take in this game is that you can unlock different gameplay modes.
Unfortunately, the game doesn't add anything besides the unlockable modes. From playing through the one hour demo, I didn't see any resource besides gold. Building the city and upgrading the buildings feels like sticking pictures on a background. The buildings give no visible bonus, and there's no real benefit to building them.
Visuals and audio is bland, but not flawed. The graphics fit, the music and sound effects are not bad, and the game supports widescreen resolutions.
I can recommend the game if you need something slightly interactive to rest your eyes on, but if you want fast paced gameplay and a feeling of progress, you're better off looking at the games this game copied.

Size Does Matter!
What ever happened to Fishdom games where you had large boards with icons that you can actually distinguish from one another. I do think that with M3 games, size is important; especially for these tired eyes of mine. Lost in Night is a M3 game with three types of Matches to choose from: group, Swap and Chain. The graphics are sharp and music rather tedious. The icons are small and after a while, gameplay puts a strain on my vision. There are power ups and trophies to win. The best thing about this game is that you start building a village but you have no choice with regard to placing items. Each item has three up-grades so you are busy at earning coins. As for the storyline, I really did not come across one, you just have an empty field and its night-time, no dialogue, no story as far as I could make out. I really think that the devleopers have missed the mark here, a rather dismal attempt a M3 game with a playing field that just does not satisfy me. Sorry, Lost in the Night will LOST me after 40 minutes of gameplay.

Beautiful little Match-3
This is a lovely, joyful game.
The graphics reminded me of favorite coloring books I had as a kid.
The tiles move very well, letting me do multiple hits as matched tiles blew up. Money accumulates easily so building can be done quickly.
I really exjoyed the game boards changing from square tiles to hexagons.
The tile designs were lovely.
If I was going to make one change it would be to make the boards larger, not more tiles, just easier to see.

Lost in night
I never did a review on any game but this game got it for me purely for the visual look! It might seem a bit bland with just unlocking new levels and building a small town, but the icons for the matches plus the background is what made it for me. Would not have bought it otherwise.

NOT SURE WHAT TO THINK
This is a nice comfortable Match3 game but I have to admit that I'm a tad confused by it. On 3 occasions, I OBVIOUSLY cleared ALL tiles within the given time BUT because it was so close to the end of the hourglass and despite having a slight amount (to me it seemed, anyway) of "sand" left, instead of saying "level complete", the game told me that my time had run out.
YES, YOU CAN PLAY RELAXED!!!
The saving grace, for me, of this game is that you CAN toggle between timed and relaxed modes between each level.
I became upset with the "time ran out" comment on Level 5, so I went to the Options in the Main Menu and UNticked the timed mode and returned to the game. I expected to start at Level 1 but the game returned me to Level 5; YEAH
I then returned to the Options in the Main Menu and REticked the timed mode and returned to the game at Level 6 (after completing Level 5, of course) and continued in the timed mode for the rest of the demo.
I have to say that I am strongly considering using my game coupon on this game as I've got to "use it or lose it" by tomorrow.
Since this game can be played in BOTH timed and relaxed modes PLUS a gamer has the option to TOGGLE between the 2 modes, I am certain that this game'll meet everyone's expectations of happiness.

Too cute of a game
I think this is a fun and cute game to play if you are looking for something to play just for a little while as you build yourself a nice little town. I enjoyed the music, it is a catchy little tune.

Eh....Not That Great of a Game
I love playing match 3 games. I am always saying that Big Fish should put out more match 3 and card games. I was so excited when I saw there finally was a Match 3 game available today. Playing it was a huge disappointment. The graphics were OK and the gameplay was OK. You play rounds of Match 3 where you can choose 3 different modes and win gold. You then use that gold to buy buildings. Usually the buildings you buy in these games come with some sort of power up or bonus...but these did not. Overall, pretty boring game. I really REALLY wish Big Fish would take the card and match 3 games more seriously because I really get sick of hidden object games day after day after day.
