LOVE IT!!!! ERS has done it again. The visuals are great. The music fits the story. I have the first two Shadow Wolf Mysteries and this one is just as good if not better. As soon as I finished the trial version I jumped at it. You will not be disappointed. October 18, 2012
Challenging eye-candy I really must say that this is one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. The backgrounds and sceneries are breathtaking with their vibrant and pleasant colors and rich details. It's such a joy to simply watch the scenes. The drawers definitely did a phantastic job here. The game play is very good as with all the "Shadow Wolf Mysteries" games. There's one thing, though. When you click on things with your magnifier cursor there's no text that tells you what to do or what's missing. That makes tasks a little more challenging than in games where you get precise hints what to do or collect. Personally, I like this feature. I probably played hundreds of HOGs and recently, I noticed a little fatigue in myself, because most of them are very similar. The mini-games are similar, the HO scenes are similar, the stories are similar. The level of challenge is not very high in most of them, because all you have to do is follow the instructions. So not chewing the food for you is definitely a plus for me. And thus, it's no surprise that I would strongly recommend this game. ;) Have fun! October 20, 2012
Not up to the usual standards... I really enjoyed the first two Shadow Wolf Mysteries, but this one left me disappointed. It was so short for one, I couldn't believe I finished it so quickly. Hardly any "people" contact, puzzles were super easy. I do like the continuing story line though, hope there is a next installment. October 19, 2012
Cursed Wedding C.E I enjoyed the game. But was very surprised when it only took four hours (including comfort breaks) to complete. I expected a lot more considering the cost of CE. October 18, 2012
Oh dear :( Such a shame, OK story, good graphics and voice acting, but the puzzles are boringly simple, no challenge at all. So sorry that these game developers haven't progressed over the years. I'll wait for the standard edition and coupon, not worth wasting my money on this one. October 18, 2012
VERY SHORT BUT TYPICAL OF ERS GAMES ANYMORE I use to be a huge fan of ERS games but not anymore. Not sure what is happening to their games but they are getting shorter and shorter in length. The graphics to this game was just so so and in some areas not good at all. The puzzles was very easy and a no brainer, storyline was almost a repeat and fun factor was not much fun at all. PLEASE ERS go back to the way you use to produce games....you was one of the best around :( October 20, 2012
Excellent, graphic, storyline and play I have played an extreme amount of games and am very picky. I get easyily bored and disgusted HOWEVER, this game is awesome. Its fun, stunning, exciting with many places to go. The puzzles aren't extremely challenging but definetly worth doing. HOS great. Graphics great! Definetly worth the money...GET IT! lol October 27, 2012
What a Stinker !!! I really would recommend passing on this game.. Really not worth the money and the fun factor is non -exsistant.. The artwork is substantard and it drags the whole game down. The voice overs are laughable as is most of the dialog, without trying to be.. SAD ! October 23, 2012
A very disappointing follow-up After having the pleasure to play the two first games in this series this was a great disappointment. Everything looks as this is the real thing, but soon after the trial time is up and you paid for a "Collector's Edition" based on the first hour's play you realise that most of the the problems are solved in no time -- and the fun is gone. Too often you find that you have received the tools for solving a new challenge before you even know what the challenge is. This game was a waste of money and time. I have paid half price for many normal priced games and had twenty times more fun! November 7, 2012
Nothing New or Impressive Here I agree with the others in that ERS seems to have fallen into a rut. The Shadow Wolf Mysteries began well, however, this one is disappointing. The graphics were nice but looked rather cartoonish to me. Not much challenge in the HO's or the minigames. It is a short game even with the bonus level and boring. I regret having bought the CE. Voice acting was good. Storyline not so much. It was evident from the beginning what the outcome would be. If you are looking for a lazy, mindless way to spend an afternoon this is your game. If you are looking for something with more length, challenge and adventure look elsewhere. November 4, 2012
