Mystery Case Files: Shadow Lake Collector's Edition 2.6 5 817 817
This Game Disappoints I love MCF games. They are my favorite and I get so excited when a new one comes out. They usually take me a decent time to complete and keep my attention; however, this one did not. It was short, boring and had very few hidden object areas. The flipping back and forth to the psycic got old. My favorite MCF is the Ravenhurst series and this one was nothing like it. Definitely not worth the collector's edition price. I was very disappointed. November 25, 2012
MCF let down I loved all the other MCF games but Shadow Lake CE was a big disappointment. I felt like too much of my time was spent watching acting scenes instead of solving puzzles. I expect a witty and challenging game from Big Fish but this was repetitious and uninspired. November 25, 2012
master detective dmv I've always loved to play Mystery Case Files games. I was very disappointed in this game. It does not come close to the previous MCF games. It is tedious and boring. November 24, 2012
very disappointing I had been waiting anxiously for this came and was very disappointed. Not at all up to previous MCF games. November 24, 2012
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Mystery Case Files are fun, challenging, addicting games... except for this one. The ending was such a letdown. I literally wanted to pull my hair out. Shadow Lake was predictable; there were no fun mini-puzzles that took a half hour to figure out. The storyline made no sense- a horn that kills whoever touches it? Really? It was a complete disappointment. I have all the other Mystery Case Files games and have played them all multiple times. Not gonna be the case for this one. November 24, 2012
Not up to MCF standards This game was not fun at all, I played through to see what the end would be, but I already figured it out. I will not purchase another game until I play the free time. November 24, 2012
What happened MCF??? I own all the other MCF games and was waiting for a new one to come out. I really wish I would have downloaded the trial first. The game was all around disappointing. I have never been able to finish a game soo quickly. November 24, 2012
A swing and a miss for MCF This game was all about the videos and lead actress, and little about a good storyline and MCF game content. I have old MCF games that I'm still replaying to figure out puzzles I skipped before. Some of them took me weeks to play. This game I finished in a few hours. On the plus side, there were a few scary moments - truly made me jump. That's when video works. And the "psychic reading" puzzles, putting videos together - those were great. I don't recommend the Collector's Edition - waste. The MCF brand will survive - great products in the past, but this one was a miss. November 24, 2012
First MCF I will not buy... Mystery Case Files have always been my favorite. I always get excited when a new one comes out. I absolutely hated this one. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because I have seen worse games as far as quality goes. But compared to all other MCF games, I would give it less than half a star. There are so many negatives, I won't even bother to list. Save your money/coupons/credits! November 24, 2012
what a disapointment!!! Mystery Case Files has been my all time favorite hidden object game series. Shadow Lake is the most uninteresting and boring games of the series. This is it for me for the series. Waste of money November 23, 2012
