Pretty Good but Missing Wow Factor
I play hidden objects with my 4-year old, and he loved the storyline! Because my 4-year-old can't read and likes to work the controls while we play, I like when the hint uses sparkles/arrows (like this game) rather than written hints. The visual quality is good, but I prefer games with a spookier atmosphere. I loved the idea of building something useful in the hidden object puzzles, but it was mostly just random clicking of scrolly-shaped metal pieces to create things nobody would ever just innately know how to build from the pieces you're given. They could have done a much better job with that aspect. Overall the game was a bit cheesy, but decent. My kid liked it.

Hey there Little Red Riding Hood
"You sure are looking good." Another beautiful game from Blue Tea. I love the whole Dark Parables series. The drawings are rich and detailed with subtle bits of animation that make the world come alive. Lots of HOS that, I think, are unique to Blue Tea. In each HOS you find elements of an object, and when you have found them all, it assembles into an inventory item to use later. Nice puzzles that feel fresh and new, certainly different. The storyline is actually very interesting, and you get absorbed into the play. Music is excellent and stays in the background except for moments of action. I really appreciate that during the HOS scenes, it is quiet, soothing and not obviously repetitive. Some games the music can get really naggy and annoying. Not this one! I look forward to the sequel.

New Twists on Beloved Tales
This game is challenging, intriguing with just the right amount of suspense, atmosphere and puzzles to keep you interested. Whilst seasoned gamers will find this mildly challenging, many newbies as well as those who are generally casual players will find this game worth their time. Especially the hint at the end of each game which serves as a teaser to the next case is maddening and keeps one coming back for more. The only problem is that sometimes you do not have a clear idea of how to proceed forward especially when the maps don't show your next relevant location however this only adds another dimension to the challenges which keep you on the go and your brain fired up. The music is fantastic, graphics awesome and the level of decorative intricacy on the many objects as well as locations give a realistic atmosphere where one can believe that the fairy tale we know is false and the game is fact. A very good game for any player regardless of ability.

One of my best-loved games ever
I don't usually love FROGs, but this one is exceptional. Beautifully drawn and animated. I watched the lifelike bird on the pedestal in the wolf kingdom for the joy of it. Cute litle mouse, too. Never had to go to a walkthrough. The hint button pointed me in the right direction without telling me what to do. Loved the parables as an interesting storytelling feature. The story was unique, but familiar, without being predictable. Sometimes I truly didn't know what to do next, which is why I rated challenge only good. Never can find all the morphing objects, so I don't try. I'd rather be entranced by the story, and I was.
Since I love dogs, it was great to end with the wolves becoming friends, as they have in our reality.
The music gets an A plus from me. as I found myself humming along. That's rare. Just enchanting.

Great story; too bad about the HF
This game was developed by a Hong Kong team, and boy do they know how to tell a good story! In fact, the storyline was its best feature, but the graphics were a large part of my enjoyment of this game.
Where it falls short of perfection for me:
1) it's a FROG game, and
2) too many hidden fragment scenes toward the end.
How was it that Prince Charles once put it about a modern addition to an old building? "It would be like a big carbuncle on the face of and elegant, well-loved friend."
Challenge to the Hong Kong team: Please, please remove the carbuncle from future games. Otherwise, you have something really good here. I love fairy tales, especially twisted ones.

Unusual Fairy Tale
Positive: 5 stars for graphics, art work and music.
Negative: plot was weak, clues were obvious, and it was too long. I did purchase the strategy guide, but used it only once.
The HOS were amazing, beautifully done. But I wondered, to what purpose? The girl at the beginning was incredibly beautiful, but at the end, the girls looked cheap. The game has 10 chapters, mostly about nothing.

Very Fun Storyline!
I loved the premise for the story in this game, and it was carried out flawlessly throughout. Graphics are stunning and the puzzles were challenging without being frustrating. Hint system was intuitive. Loved everything about this game, and so far have had the same experience with the entire series. Enjoy!

Excellent Combination of Adventure and Hogs!
I haven't finished this game yet, but just had to write in to tell you fishies that this game is good or better than the other Dark Parable games.
I am not fond of games that have a high amount of Hogs but this one is the kind of Hog where you have to find the pieces to put together a bigger item that is necessary to the game! I love those!
Love the story line.. the music is okay. I usually keep the music turned down anyway.
Mini games are cool.. some a little differeent than normal. Not fond of the map because it doesn't seem to really tell you where to go if you get stuck. if you click on the hints however it will show you what area you need to go to. Hint button fills up pretty fast. no problems if you click on things a lot either.
