An OK game
Just finished the demo, cartoon graphics are nice, challenges easy to follow, interaction and navigation easy, mini puzzles tricky enough to make things pleasant for beginners or intermediate...unfortunately not areal challenge for "expert skills" level. Good all rounded fun, should suit many players.

The hand drawn scene was well done.Music was not annoying .Hint button recharged quickly and was easy to follow. Fun for all ages. Maybe a little challenging for younger ages.

Fun Game Considering I Don't Care For Puzzles Review Of Entire Game
This is a puzzle/adventure game. You do have to find things in the scenes to be able to move forward in the game however there are no HOS (hidden object scenes) at all to this game.
Story: You take on the role of Liz who has been kidnapped and must find her way back home but not before she helps the inhabitants who are being terrorized by Scartaris Umbra. There's also 3 inhabitants who have special abilities and will then help you once you rescue them.
7 chapters
Graphics: Whimsical and "cartoon" characters.
There are voice overs.
2 play modes - I played the easier mode since I'm not a fan of the puzzles. Also shows when an area has been completed in the easier mode.
Map: Will show you were you are and where there are tasks to do. You can also use it to travel back/forth.
Puzzles: Lots of puzzles. Most the usual run of the mill found in many games: Rotate rings, get pieces from one side to the other, swap pieces to form a picture, etc. There were a few I've never seen before anyway. You can also reset them and there is a ? mark to get more info on the puzzles.
Hint / Skip: Charge up pretty quick.
There's also achievements to be earned.
My overall impression:
Well first off I'm not sure why the Big Fish has this listed under hidden object games as there are no HOS to this game.
Considering I'm not a "puzzle" person however I still found this to be a fun game overall as I pretty much played this straight through. In regards to these puzzles some I found easy, some I found fun to my surprise and some downright annoying.
The graphics to this game are just beautiful and a very well done here.
I also enjoyed the story as I thought it was really well told along with the characters and their special abilities to help me along. The voice overs also very fitting and not overdone.
This game just has a lot to do/places to go and I'm sure glad there was a map and also showed once the area had been completed.
Game length: I still got 6 hours out of this game. May be more/less for you.I even used the hint a few times and skipped a few of the puzzles. I also didn't earn all the achievements but I did earn most of them.
Overall I give this 4 stars.I would of given this 5 stars if there weren't so many puzzles and had just a few HOS since this is listed as a hidden object game.
I thank you though Big Fish and developer as this was a fun game overall.
As always, definitely give it a whirl and decide for yourself.

Great adventure game, stunning visuals
Amazing graphics - I really appreciated the hand-drawn art. The animations were a little goofy, as they often are in BigFish games. I played this with my girlfriend and we both really enjoyed it. AND IT IS NOT SCARY (i.e. not the horror genre at all), which she approved of enthusiastically. It does have a fairytale feel which I also like a lot (though I also love BigFish's plethora of much darker adventure games).
The character voices were quite nice as well - kudos to the voice artists, and the main heroine has a really pleasant voice.
The story did take some shortcuts and there were definitely unexpected moments (not twists, just as if the story suddenly ended and another one began with the same heroes). When you encounter this, just take it as two games in one, so as you are expecting a certain situation to finally resolve itself, you suddenly get a whole lot more content and new areas to explore!
The map ("Atlas") which tells you where you've got tasks to complete is really helpful and pretty much ensured I never got stuck.
I'd generally recommend Advanced mode if you've played any of BigFish's adventure games, including Hidden Object games, before. You can still actually skip puzzles and get hints, although I believe these "powers" charge more slowly than in Casual mode.
The puzzles varied from easy to more challenging, but there was quite a nice variety - and if you actually go with logic - "let's write down a structured approach to this" - instead of using your intuition as well, you may find yourself spending quite a few nice hours with the game.
I would definitely buy other games from this development studio, they really seem to know what they're going for and what they're doing.
Had no technical issues whatsoever with this game.
Definitely recommend, would gift it to young and older friends alike.

Captivating! I'm so glad some parts of me haven't grown older!
Like walking into a dream, thoroughly enjoyed the vibrant colors and smooth gameplay. Purchased game straightaway! While game is downloading, wanted to stop by and say hello and job well done to developers as well as BFG for picking up this one! How lovely to open your minds and allow such unique creativity flow rather than following the morbid masses.
Game can be enjoyed by children of ALL ages!
"Is that you, Peter Pan?"...from the movie "Hook".
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

Fun Journey
I played the whole game. I enjoyed the illustrations and the fact that it was bright. For the most part there were no animations but that didn't detract for me. It is not a HOG but more of a collectors/adventure game. Hints are easy to access if you need them. There is no journal and none is really necessary. There is a book/map that indicates where clues/objects are and the game is nice enough to tell you when an area is complete.
There is a cumulative timer and I ended up playing almost 6 hours, nice bang for my buck. There are two parts to the story. When I defeated the first Villian there was a second to go after.
The objects were not terribly hard to find but some were challenging. The mini games were sometimes easy and sometimes challenging. There are several to try. You can skip after a reasonable amount of time.
I am an intermediate to expert gamer and was entertained throughout the game. I appreciate the fact that this was not a dark game with a lot of violence.

I LOVE This Game!
I was away the day this game came out and let this game slip by me for some strange reason. I just recently came across it and having comleted it, I really must put my two cents in and say that this was by far one of my favortie games that I have played for some time. I loved the cartoon like graphics, the fantastic storyline that introduces us to a group of awesom characters with great voice-overs. It was a challenging and very entertaining game that took me over 6 hours to complete. I will now attempt to play it in hard-mode in order to get that badge for 'completing game under 6 hours'. There are no HO scenes but many puzzles to solve which I simply love. You have an interactive map that does allow you to jump and really some highly amusing mini-games. Some were easy and some did manage to make me sweat. There is nothing I did not love about this game and I really look forward to a sequel or another just like it. Kudos to BFG for this jewel and looking forward to many more like this.

Review of Finished Game
I loved this game. It is adventure light, no hidden object scenes. Lots of puzzles, ranging from easy to hard. There are also achievements. It is done in a fantasy style with bright vivid colors. The map tells you where you are, where something needs to be done and takes you there if you want. I actually walked for most of the game, that's how much I liked it! The chapters are self-contained, with only 5 or 6 scenes in each chapter so there isn't much back-tracking. This had everything I want in a game, to me it was perfect.

Great Long Game!
This game went on and on....when I thought it was over, there was another location!!!

Bought it before demo ended
Any game I have to think twice about buying is something I shouldn't buy... didn't need to think twice about this one, it's like the old point and click adventures in that you search all over for objects to further your quest, objects that help you repair something or open things... not a HOG scene in sight for which I'm grateful as this is much more my thing. The graphics are lovely a real change from most and they create a really great world...
The puzzles are great too... some really interesting ones.. the kind I don't mind working at for a while.
In all a great game.
