Unusual HO game This is a new one for me. I've never heard of the game designer, but I rather liked this game. The graphics were very good & I like the way they put the clues at the top of the inventory box. All in all, pretty enjoyable. November 25, 2012
Enjoyable Game, Great Storyline, 4 -5 hrs finished main story I just finished the game and it took me 4-5 hrs so do not believe people who try and estimate and say it may be a short game. I enjoyed the great voice overs, some of the puzzles were unique. The best part was no long boring list of hidden objects. I also enjoyed the storyline and the voices fit the characters. I like the way the hidden object screen was done finding a certain number of objects or a single object like a key. The graphics could have been done better but I feel the pros outweigh the cons. I am going to go and play the bonus game now. November 25, 2012
LOVE THIS GAME!!! Not exactly a Hidden Object Game(wish more people would spell out their HOS) but a little different. Big Fish has stepped up and come out with some fantastic games in the last few days and I have bought every one! This game involves finding different objects and using them in different scenes..so sorta like a hidden object game. Voice Over is pleasant and appealing. Story line is followable and instructions are easy to follow. Most games are decent and easy to finish. 5 Stars! November 26, 2012
Hooded men, kidnapping and a beast !!!!!! Played 40 minutes, casual - 2 modes, casual, expert, you can change while playing - Integrated SG which turns pages as you progress in the game. Doesn't show how many chapters there are - Voice overs - Notebook, includes a map which only shows where you are, you can't "jump" with it - Box where you collect clues - No real H0, you go through quite imaginative quests in order to find the items you need. No regular list of items to find. A bit trickier than regular H0 and a nice change. - The items you can use straight away have a blue glow in your inventory - Up to what I played mini games were pretty easy - Good graphics Your friend has disappeared, town's inhabitants seems rather hostile and of course there are hooded men and you will most probably meet THE BEAST !!! A buy for me. November 25, 2012
Very fun, based on the trial version only Only tried it, and it seems to me original: storyline, graphics mainly. The level of challenge is not very high, with a lot of help available (map and hints), but the ambiance is fun and makes you shivers November 25, 2012
It's an OK game. I played 20 minutes of the demo and think I'll be buying it. However, for being in expert level, there's a little too much hand-holding. Items glow in the inventory when you can use them. Voice overs are good. Scenes, so far, are dark and hard to see details. Graphics are well done and movement around is smooth. Strangely, the cursor is not custom. It's a generic system cursor which detracts from the spookiness of the game. I would like to have seen a wolf's paw/claw or something of that nature. It seems fairly simple and not too hard to figure things out. In the 20 minutes I played, I had not run into any HO scenes of the typical sort and only one mini-game that was very easy. This will be a buy for me as it seems like it will be an easy game to relax with. November 25, 2012
Empress of the Deep meets the Werewolf! I really enjoyed the gameplay on this. The story line really kept me interested in the game. The visuals were other-wordly like Empress of the Deep series which this game manufacturer also produced. The music was not overpowering and the voice overs were not overly annoying which they sometimes can be. I played in the expert mode which made for a very challenging adventure game. There were no junk piles for HO scenes, but finding items to complete a component to be used elsewhere. I don't time games, but I played this game for two afternoons which probably was upwards of six hours. The bonus game was very involved, and takes you back in time to show how the story transpired. Very enjoyable game without a lot of gore or satanic references. I think this game is underappreciated and would love to see the devs come out with a series of games of this type. November 27, 2012
An Actual Adventure Game I thoroughly enjoyed this game. For me, it is quite refreshing to have an actual adventure game. In this game you use your intuition to click on various parts of a scene to discover areas that have puzzles within them. Pure hidden object enthusiasts may be disappointed, but for those of us who love adventure games, this one is delightful. I do wish the graphics were brighter and more deeply saturated, but having said that, they are still fine. The game-play is enjoyable and I found it straightforward. Thanks developers for an entertaining game that isn?t redundant to the vast majority of recently released games! November 26, 2012
Lots of Running Around I liked this game as it gives you lots of help, be it by the hint button (which is very good, as it tells you where to go) or by the voice comments (which was different but fun). I am rather tired of all these werewolf stories, but this game is fun for the beginner or intermediate player. There is a lot of backtracking, and without the map , it is easy to get lost. I think I will buy this game. No HOS, which is refreshing. November 25, 2012
Mesmerizing Usually I don;t care too much for slow moving, disjointed games but for some reason I find the one to be rather charming and somewhat addictive. Not a lot of hos but there are somethings more important than rummaging through someones trash. November 25, 2012
