BC ending leaves a lot to be desired
I played the entire game and overall it's good. Yes, it's different in all the ways described in the other reviews, and those differences are good, I think.
One thing I didn't like: I will say there were quite a number of skulls/skeletons/bones and *many* occultic/satanic references in this game that varied in intensity and they were constant through the game.
The next thing I didn't like: The bonus content "ending". There are 2 things to do that are of the same type of game play as what you did in the main game. I am mixed on having to go all over the island with a fine tooth comb to find necessary items. That was a bit much, I think. However, what you were doing it for was worth it for the first quest. The next quest, you had to go all over the island yet again with that same comb to find certain items, and the reason for this? Just so that you could see the artwork, the characters, and deleted scenes. These are things that are usually seperate entities clickable in the BC. Here it was made part of the game; a result or reward for finding these items. Anticlimactic and weird. As such, the game never ended. Once you see these things, you are left to roam around the island forever (the hint says "explore the island"). There was no actual ending to the BC, no automatic back to the main menu, no credits (usually they show again at the end of the BC). Very disconcerting. I was never sure I was done even though there was nothing else to do.
The developers were obviously trying to do something here, but I don't know what it was, and perhaps they should not try and do that again. At least not in this specific way.
All that said, it was a good game, sans the quirky BC "ending".
I'll recommend the CE with slight reservation.

Different but great hidden object game
When I first began playing the game, I wasn't sure I liked it. The navigation wasn't as obvious as in other games and the hidden object scenes were different. But the more I played it, the more I liked it. The characters, particularly the old lady, are interesting. The puzzles are a nice mix of types with none of them too frustrating or difficult. The graphics are good with some very interesting scenes. Overall, very good game.

A little different but interesting!
I enjoyed this game. It isn't terribly hard. I played in expert mode so not a lot of help offered. I loved the little old lady and her house. Game had some interesting things added to the usual missing friend in trouble theme. I do recommend this game for all ages. Mini-games are not overly difficult. No gross body count. Just hours of fun.

Very fun game
This really was a fun game and I liked how the gameplay was set up to keep things moving along. The werewolf being a character instead of just the hulking menace added to it a lot for me also. Moving around the mapped area was easy and very fluid. Fun fast paced game.

Excellent Adventure/Hidden Object Game
The Developer knows how to do "dark" scenes with clarity. Even in the "dark" scenes, I could easily see items that I was searching for. The Graphics were very clear.
The Bonus section, was absolutely part of the story and worth having in this game.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game.

Will wait for the SE
Played the demo for the full hour:
I started off in expert mode, there are no sparkles which is good but there is also no change of cursor or arrows which show you where you can go. Hardened gamers may enjoy this but I got a bit confused so switched to casual mode....much better.
I liked the storyline...bit of a sucker for magic amulets etc..lol. The HOS were okay but the game overall was dark so it was very difficult at times to see anything which I found a little off-putting.
All in all it didn't grab me enough to pay the CE price so I will wait patiently for the SE.

Interesting
I loved this! In casual you'll see arrows, hands, magnifying glass, and a sparkle or sparkles for what needs to be done. Only wish that on the map if you click location it would take you there.

You'e Joking, Right?
It took me playing only 20 minutes of the demo trial to decide that a trip to the Dentist would have been less painful than playing this game. Where do I begin? There should be a competition amongst Fishies to see who can come up with the best 'This game is so bad..... joke. I will go first, This game is so bad, I would rather spend a day with my Mother-in-law, and she has been dead for 15 years! ' I will try to keep this review reasonably short and remain impartial and just say the following, Graphics: Bad, Sound: Bad, Story: Bad, Gameplay: Bad and if you think I am being rough, then all I can advise you is to try the demo and see for yourself. If you have never palyed a HOPA or even a HOG before, then you will find this one very easy to play as in every scene, whether you choose casual or expert, the object you are looking for twinkles. Area o f interest sparkles and what you need to be done is printed out in very large text pops up on the screen. I have heard of hand-holding before but this game just plays itself and you just follow it with the cursor. A series of questions pops up in my mind regarding the Best of Lycan, the first being, what was BFG thinking when they decided to sell this game as a CE? I am also wondering if this game was beta tested and have these developers made any other games before? Oh yes, a bit on the story, A girl called 'LUNA' must save her missing friends from an island called 'LYCAN', can we assume that this games deals with Werewolves and can this game get anymore sillier?

OK, that's awesome!
If you love games that are different, with HOS that have a purpose rather than just be irritating stumbling blocks on your quest to find a tool, great graphics and super puzzles, look no further! I was enthralled from the first moment and had a hard time pausing whenever real life knocked on the door.
For someone like me who is frankly tired of HOGs and traditional puzzles, this is a wonderful change.
The voice overs are fabulous, the plot well thought through. I loved looking for clues to my friend Tara and working out how to best use the map and the hints (which are kind of riddles rather than concrete indicators - great!).
I loved the bonus content, even unusual things such as the extras (deleted scenes, artwork etc) being an integral part of the game rather than a credits or menu item.
I warmly recommend this game and hope there are more coming.
