The Chinese Empire is in grave danger as the Nomads from the North threaten the wealth and prosperity of its lands. Kong Baotu, a smart and resourceful man, accepts the challenge to achieve the impossible. He commits himself to building the Great Wall that will protect China from the warlike barbarians. In return, he asks for permission to marry the Emperor's beautiful daughter, Fan Tanrui. Join Kong in his epic adventure! Help him save the Empire and marry Fan. China's wall has to wait
I was soooo excitied when I finally saw another non HOG come out and soooo disappointed when I played this one.The story is pretty good and the music is pleasant but somehow it did not hook me. The graphics are not crisp enough, the characters are not really appealing to me. I am just not feeling it. I always complain when I have to cut down trees in any game and this one is no exception because they do not seem to grow back and that reminds me just of China period. Sorry, but I will not be helping to build the great wall.

All levels much too easy
Too bad, this game does not have any "high score", minigames are all the sames and much too easy, I was able to complete all levels 3 stars without having to restart any of them.
Graphics quite poor, story line not present...
Very disappointed...

Not in the same league as Royal Envoy
I am a huge fan of Royal Envoy and was looking forward to this game. But I am disappointed. While still a challenge to get all three stars, it just didn't hold my interest enough to spend the time working out each level. I have uninstalled it and will wait for third episode of Royal Envoy , please.

Only So-So
I'm a big fan of this genre, but I found the demo disappointing and won't be buying this game. The concept of building the Great Wall is creative enough to promise a new spin, but the game itself makes little use of that setting. I didn't see anything novel to the play. You pick up resources, build buildings, and accomplish designated tasks. At least for the first hour, it is repetitive and overly simple. The interruptions to shoot a passing dragon are annoying. If you like this genre and are tired of replaying Royal Envoy, Roads of Rome, and MKFTP, you might find enough here to amuse you for a few hours. If you're new to the genre, try those first.

I found this TMG very annoying
Annoying is the word that kept coming to mind as I played higher levels of the game, I quit about 2/3 the way through the game and don't plan on finishing it. Early on the game was fine and played well, but after about the 1/2 way point they started sending in dragons that burned down production building and as the game progressed they sent in more and more and then they started sending in cyclones that knocked your builds down, this would completely disrupt the production plans and make you play the level over and over until you could figure out how they would disrupt your production. Didn't like that one bit, I figure if you plan well you should be able to complete a fair number of levels at 3 stars on the first try, this annoying element did not make the game any better at all, just more annoying.

Worth the money/credit!
I have a love/hate relationship with TM games. They frustrate me but I love playing them. This one does not disappoint. I hate it but love it! I don't have the sound on so I can't rate the sound but the graphics are very good. I never pay attention to the story line so I can't rate that either but it's typical to other TM games.
The only thing that was different than most is the view of the game. It's pulled back futher than most but it's not annyoing. You can't click to have them start another task before they are finished with the first but it's no big deal. Overall I would recommend this game if your into time management. I just wish I could manage my time in real life as well as I seem to do with these types of games! Have fun!

Kind of slow
I love this type of game and I'm always happy to see a new one. This game is fun and I enjoy playing it. The only problem I have with it is that I think it is a little slow. I would like the characters to move a little faster. And being able to click on tasks in advance would be helpful. Visually it is nice but I cannot comment on the sound since I never leave the sound on when playing.

this is a fun game. not inventive but a good solid strategy game with wellknown wallbuilding and rock smashing little people ;-)

I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS GAME
THE GRAPHICS WERE GREAT, MUSIC NOT IRRITATING,GETS VERY CHALLEGING. THE WHOLE GAME IS VERY FUN.

Very good game
This is a good game, similar in style to My Kingdom for the Princess, and yet different enough to make it interesting.
You have to build the Great Wall of China, and other buildings along the way to help you do that. You have to gather resources so that you can build. The graphics are pleasant and colorful, the gameplay easy enough to learn. If you succeed, you may marry the princess.
I enjoyed this so much that I bought it before finishing the trial. :)
