ARRRGH! Onery Dragons!
Challenging puzzles with increasing levels of difficulty, where you must gather energy and supplies, overcome obstacles and compete with dragons (!) while building the Great Wall of China. About the time you determine a plan of action, dragons swoop in and wreak havoc.
Well developed story line and beautifully rendered graphics add to enjoyment. Looking forward to next game in the series ...at least, I hope it becomes a series. It's that much fun.

Boring & Repeating
When I played this game for the free hour, I liked it because it was different. Once I bought it, I noticed the scenes were basically the same thing. The people are small & run really slow. I can only play it for a limited time because I start getting headaches due to constantly squinting my eyes. If I could return, I would.....Sorry BF.

No queueing, not buying
It's totally annoying if the game keeps telling you that there's no free worker because you can't queue your tasks. Frustrated me after five minutes.
It's a pity, really. The graphics were cute and I liked the story.

Annoying
Sometimes this type of game can be fun, like in the first Roads of Rome game, but in this case it's just annoying. The workers move very slowly and there's no option to speed up the game. They always have to return to their barracks before you can assign them a new task even if they just finished building something as opposed to just finishing collecting resources (where I can understand they'd have to return to base to drop off the resources gathered). Also, for a game set in China, the people in the artwork sure do look European.

Fun TM Game with Oriental theme
If you like My Kingdom for the Princess, Roads of Rome etc. this will give you a few hours of fun. The graphics are good and I like the Oriental theme for a change. There are a few tile matching mini game which are entertaining too. This game has kept me awake for an entire night!

Need better options
I enjoy the Asian theme, however not being able to queue up the actions and no way to defend against the "fire dragon" really frustrates me. You just have to sit there and wait and there is no way to get 3 stars when they come one right after another. I wish I hadn't bought the game.

Another almost great game
This is another game that with two small changes would be a great game.
1. Lack of a timer on resources makes it difficult to use workers efficiently. Not a problem on lower levels but as the grame progresses so does the frustration at not knowing if that ore source is going to renew next or if you have plenty of time to go grab other stuff.
2. Not being able to queue up worker actions. I love it when a TMG has this and when they don't it makes me sad.
I also like the number of workers to be included in the resource boxes - but that's not a deal breaker, just a surprise that's it's missing.
But with so few TMG's out there I'll buy this one anyway. The story line is really well done, and liberally interspersed with historical tidbits. The graphics are great and I like the Oriental flavor. The gameplay is also pretty good, not overly challenging, but not too simple as it progresses.
And the spelling, grammar and punctuation are error free (so far). I know that's not a big deal but it is worth noting, especially with the large amount of text present in the story line. No technical issues either.
Overall I'd recommend it to TMG players.

Great Wall Of China
Great game concept but not enough levels. They should remake this and make the "journey" longer. Also on the levels where you build a fort, they could make it more challenging or have to build the fort in stages.

one of the tougher TM games
The inability to queue actions makes this game harder; I wonder if it was a deliberate choice? The later sections need some serious planning if you are to achieve your goal never mind get 3 stars.
The mini-games are pants; killing a dragon by repeated clicking on a bow shape is an insult to the players skill and intelligence.
