Dreadful! Is this really a CE?
I wouldn't even bother buying this game as a DD, let alone consider buying it as a CE. In fact, I probably wouldn't bother playing it for free unless I was really, really bored and desperate.
The graphics were bland and drab, and not very pleasant to look at. The HO scenes were blah. The story was the usual cliche about missing kids, etc. There was absolutely no incentive to go on. I stuck it out for 30 mins (fighting the urge to fall asleep from boredom) before I gave up.
Disappointing.

A Brother's Grimm story--excellent game
You are a Brother's Grimm detective who has to go to a town and fight the puppet master for control of children's souls.
Great graphics.
Good characters with VOS
Many HOS-non-interactive, clear, but stuff is well hidden
Music is nice and unobtrusive
Good hint system
Good puzzles, short skip
Very enjoyable game, hope the series continues
Six hours casual, including bonus chapter

good hidden object game
I liked this game quite a lot but felt it was not a long enough game. I would like to of seen more of a story line. The hidden object parts were good and not to hard, great game for someone new to this type of game.

Poor Collector's Edition - not worth the money
On any other collector's edition you find something you wouldn't find on the normal game - extra tasks and/or extra hidden objects. On this game, it's the same as any normal game. Definitely not worth spending extra for, you may as well wait for the normal version to come out, and then only buy it if it is discounted as it's very lame. Hidden objects very easy to find and not much story to it.

The puppet thief
I liked the game , but it was way to easy, hidden objects were also way to easy to fined, and the game was way to short to be concidered a CE , not worth the price of a CE game.

Same Games Different Titles
Nothing new,nothing different, same ol',same ol'
Ho's are not difficult,game play pretty simple.
Played on advanced and no problems figuring out what to do.
Won't buy the CE but might buy the reg. version.

Fairy Tale Mysteries The puppet Thief CE
I actually liked this game. I find the game interesting and the graphics are not that bad. Not one of the best games I've done but it's ok by me.

Like Grimm with a twist
Game was decent length and was fun. Tiny objects but like others.

I don't know...
The mechanics of this game are ok, graphics and voice overs and cut scenes are ok, HOS and puzzles and minigames are ok. The storyline is ok.
So, what's missing? I don't know. But the game didn't grab me, in fact I didn't even played the whole demo, I got bored to death.
But it can be just my mood, so I'll skip the recommending part, and suggest that you try it for yourselves.

Simple HO but good!
Just finished the demo..Great storyline--HO's aren't really that bad--hint button is good..Graphics could use a little more depth, but all in all a good game.
