Nothing special I am pretty much disappointed in the whole game, and first thing is the length- too short. Storyline was ok but too slow, and in some parts I found it a little bit boring. Puzzles and HOS were nothing near challenging even in advanced mode. My opinion is that this is a nice game for younger players and those who enjoy relaxed gameplay, not for adventure and challenge seekers. December 11, 2012
PAST WRONGS A vision appears while you are in a coma, telling you to make amends for your past wrong doings. So off you go. There are 4 ?stories.? There?s a life lesson to be learned here. Lots of interesting puzzles and mini-games; and the many interactive HOS are crisp, clear and aren?t too crowded. Very lovely graphics. Entertaining diversion from the usual car crashes, kidnapped person and ghost stories. Music is soothing and would be good if you?re stressed out. Hint system on casual recharges very fast. Very relaxing game. December 1, 2012
Spoiler Free - Mysteries of the Mind First things first - this game took forever and a day to download. Seriously. I almost gave up on it but by that point I wanted to know what the game was like so I waited it out. I'm glad I waited it out. This is a good game. I played on the easy setting and although the HO areas were sparkley, they blended in well. When you click on the hint button after you've cleared a room, a bubble will pop up showing the location you should go to next with a "GO" button. Pushing the button will take you to that place. So nice for those of us that get lost. I really enjoyed the story as well which is nice since so many games have rubbish story lines. Even though I just bought a ton of games (it was a great sale) I'll be buying this one too. While I think that many will love this game, I think that because the hints give so much information this might be a good game for a beginner as well. December 1, 2012
Delightful At last! A great game that doesn't have all the scary creatures in it. Lovely story line but not too sentimental. Unresolved issues that are worked through. Unique HO scenes involving some action and thought. Not a difficult game but a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours. I bought it without trying it first and am not disappointed. Uninspired and annoying I get what a lot of the reviewers are saying -- that it is nice to have a HOG game that isn't about supernatural elements and dark fantasy and all that. But the reverse is worse. This is insipid and dull. There's a voiceover that's just so condescending I feel like I'm being completely talked down to. You can skip some of the bigger voiceover/cut scenes but not all of them, and in some cases even after you've hit the skip button, the condescending voice keeps prattling at you. There's no map so no good way to jump around from place to place without using the hint button (which offers you the ability to do that). That wouldn't be so awful except that each room loading takes forever. The HOG scenes themselves are average, with the usual addition having to do a few things to complete the list. I never finished the demo. After 40 minutes I couldn't take the condescending voice anymore and deleted the game. January 26, 2013
Mysteries of the mind:Coma good game so far, have played for about 1 hour. You are in a coma following an accident, you explore your deepest memories, one of the things you want to know is what is the mystery of the estrangement from your mother, so you go deep into your mind, you have ghostly guide that appears from time to time to talk to you. Graphics are good, Ho's are good, the hint button shows you the usual thing, but it also will show you the area you need to go to and if you press it will take you there, all in all not a bad game , enjoyable and relaxing to play, worth a buy. Was that all???? Well..... its not a game I would buy again given the chance. It lacked in so many areas, not least of which was CHALLENGE. I played the game on the advanced setting and was really disappointed in how easy it was. The story line OK, but the game itself was FAR TOO SHORT! You play a child and, as the title says, your in a Coma. Then you have 3 challenges (stories) to complete, non of which required too much thinking. Some of the tasks are auto completed for you, which makes it really easy and spoiled it for me. The best part of this game, for me, were the HOGs. They are well drawn and took some time on one or two of them. The complexity of the game leaves a lot to be desired though. I would say this is a game that a could be completed by a novice HOG player. But for the more experienced, leave it alone! December 13, 2012
Good story! I really like the storyline and it progresses nicely. HOS are not too dark & I like using one object on another for some of them. The story isn't too dark in the free trial version I played. This is one I will buy. December 1, 2012
Ok game for Regular Edition--Good graphics I waited until this game came out to buy the regular edition....I am finding that many games just aren't worth the Collectors price. I enjoyed this game though for what it was worth....The graphics were very good, and not too gray which makes the Hidden object searches a little easier and less boring....the story was a little insipid...But overall it was worth the Standard price, and I had a coupon.... But just because the graphics were good doesn't mean they should recylce them Ad Nauseum in the next games...BFG or who ever does the software needs to ensure graphics change somewhat from game to game. A nice game but not too challenging Review based on the full game. Liked the storyline, something a little different, and agree with other reviewers that nice to have a change from the spooky/kidnapping stories. There were a lot of HOS but they differed slightly in difficulty level so that kept it interesting for me. Puzzles not too hard either, so all in all a relaxing game to play. I also liked the hint button which allowed you to travel to where you needed to go next. The downside for me was the length of the game, it was pretty short. Still recommend spending a bonus credit though! December 7, 2012
