Detective Quest: The Crystal Slipper Collector's Edition 4.3 5 124 124
Just Awful I finished the demo in such a short time that it makes me believe there is no real length in game play with this one. The HO's - you have to find where things belong, but nothing I experienced was challenging at all. It may be a game a young girl could enjoy, but I don't recommend this game. December 13, 2012
Disappointing Elephant games are usually excellent and until recently I have bought every game they have developed. Unfortunately they seem to have veered off from their usual path of games like Hallowed legends, Samhain and Mystery Trackers and have gone down the path of Dark Parables and frankly they are not as good.As usual the graphics are well done but there was no music and I found the characters did not move well. Also this game crashed and crashed on me something that never happens with elephant so I had to give up. What I did see from the demo was really childish and why did the prince have to hire a detective when Cinderella two scenes away? Overall another disappointment like Unfinished Tales; Illicit love which I thoroughly disliked. December 18, 2012
Detective Quest: The Crystal Slipper CE Disgusted with games that initially portray themselves (i.e. during trial version) to be lighthearted fun-and-games, but gradually turn darker and darker until all you're left with is demons, witches and oppressive "game play." It became so oppressive that I finally uninstalled it. Except for this SIGNIFICANT issue, BFG has been an otherwise good experience. Now, what can this promising company do to more honestly represent the games they sell...upfront? January 5, 2013
Detective quest: The Crystal Slipper CE totally for a child, not an adult, seems you have been doing a lot of these types lately. Wasted 20 minutes on the hour try and very much disliked the whole concept. We all know about Cinderella. December 13, 2012
