Thanks for the new game experience Big Fish! Found is a find! I have been looking for games that are still relaxing and yet offer more strategy elements than a typical HOG (hidden object game) I find this game fun because it is multidimensional to have quests, levels and energy to consider in addition to the hidden object games I love. Still learning how to play, and when I want to spend money, but happy that I get to learn for free with unlimited time! December 20, 2012
If you're not a HOG fan, don't let that put you off I dislike HOG as a rule - but I really loved this one! It's a little confusing to begin with, but stick with it. Your plane has crash-landed on a tropical island and you have to barter with the locals using items you earn by searching various scenes. Unlike most HOG games you don't have to search for a tiresomely long list of items to reap any reward. You do have to search the same scenes for the same items several times, but the items move around so it isn't easy. Minuses? Not many - the music is just a teensy bit repetitive, and don't do what I did and spend all your diamonds in a hurry, because then you have to buy more, with real money that is, although they're not expensive. Give it a chance... First things first - this is definitely not your typical HO affair. It's quirky, sometimes bizarre, and to be honest a little slow to get started. But keep going - it definitely gets better. In the end it really is a lot of fun! I like how they mix up the quests and I'm in a bit of a groove going from one to the next. Nice variety. Somebody mentioned Elephant and I agree - they are a great developer and I really like the nice change of pace from their latest offering. December 19, 2012
A decent time waster... I usually don't play hidden object games, but this one was free, so why not give it a try? I quite liked that there weren't too many items to find in the first few areas and from looking around the map (you can drag it around) I saw that there are quite a few more areas to come. The quests given by the characters are simple to understand and follow and it gives you an actual reason to look for your items. Even though I don't really understand why a stranded stewardess would want to assemble a pirate's outfit. The use of energy for actions in the game might limit some, but for me it's the perfect indicator for when to stop playing. If you run out of energy, just close the game and come back to it later. If you don't want to stop you can always use food and drink you find in the different scenes or get from quests. There's really no need to buy any coins or diamonds just so you can afford more energy. If you ever wanted to try a hidden object game but didn't want to pay, this is the one for you. Pirate themed TM/ Strategy + HO this one is more Time Management/ Strategy and bit of HO. Pirate themed game where you are given objectives or goals like collecting mask, boots, food. You only collect 5 HO per goal. Some are list type others are silhouette. Sometimes you look for items in the dark. It's junk pile and very repetitive - same location, same things to find tho' they do move some items but not always. There's heaps of hints but it costs you diamonds so be careful or you will run out of diamonds which you need to buy food or the game cannot move on. You get diamonds, coins, other stuff and you go to a store to buy food for energy, chest which has treasures in them. You also get achievements. You get so many rewards or stuff like stars, ribbons, feathers, buttons, scissors which I cannot figure out just yet what I will use them for- perhaps needed later on? There is a map which you click/ drag to show other areas like caves, wrecked plane, UFO, pirate ship, ruins. Seems there are lots of levels. You also get to choose the character you want to be. WARNING: Stay away from the "bank" button where you need to pay to get more diamonds to buy food. Beware!!! do not buy or you start paying. I played for an hour and never had to buy anything. The key to this game is strategy so you never run out of food and you can keep playing. This is a sort of game which you either like or you don't. Still heaps better than the free to play Sushi that's for sure. December 19, 2012
A new kind of challenge! Wow, I wasn't too sure what to expect from this game when I downloaded it. I'm glad I gave it a chance though; after a while I really got into it and I've started finding my feet with the gameplay. Looking forward to getting further into it. Definitely worth a try! Nice to see something new to try Big Fish! I've been the classic hidden object fan for years and I tried this free to play game that I've seen a lot in the App store but never a hidden object one. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this game. It was a nice departure from the same, dark hidden object games that I have been playing. At first I wasn't sure about the in game currency experience but I was able to play without buying anything for awhile and when I did buy some currency, it was painless and made the progress more exciting. This is a very different way of playing hidden object games so beware but you never know...until you try. I personally am a fan! Keep this type of games coming - just make sure to also keep bringing the traditional HoGs coming Big Fish! December 20, 2012
Nice to chill out with = ) Didn't think I'd like this, but was nothing to lose in trying except a bit of time... and it turned out I love it! Sometimes you just need a light bit of fun, and this game gives that. I look forard to future choices of games like this. Thanks BF for trying something new! December 19, 2012
'Found' a great game I love! Sorry for the pun ;) Right from the beginning I had an excellent impression - light-hearted, fun and entertaining! Give me a pirate in a game and I'm all yours. ;) I played with my 4 year old son who loves Big Fish hidden object games and he liked this game as well. Thank you for a really cool game, yarrr! Would be better without the resetter Was nice enough, provided you don't mind quitting and coming back after waiting for your energy to reload. Either that or you pay a lot for game diamonds. But i had come to level 18 and the stupid game tells me about some profile corruption and immediately all my progress is lost! If you're in the habit of buying stuff, that makes this a pretty expensive game you know... January 8, 2013
