Great Game!
I enjoyed this game and as well the bonus chapter. Storyline was on par with other HOGS. The HOG scenes were well done and I was stumped by the label on some items to search for, no problem I managed. Thanks for no extra hints in the HOG scenes for it forced me to use the muscle between my ears.
Not a particularly lengthy game, challenge well easier than some.
I read the submitted negative reviews so I chose to play no matter and I am glad I did.
Not all HOG's are equal nor should they be -- recommend you decide for yourself -- happy gaming.

My 2 cents on the Demo Only
I thought the demo suggests a fairly interesting game. The reviews, (the three poor reviews so far), are unwarranted. As an aside it annoys me when people review a game after a 1/2 hour demo. Play the game. Then tell me what you think. Despite my black kettle or stones of my own house, based on the demo I think it is going to be an enjoyable adventure, HOG, game with an interesting story. One criticism of the story line (unless there is a twist) is that the secret of what is going on in whitehall is revealed too early. But of all the HOG/adeventure demos played over the past few weeks this one interests me enough to buy the game.

Very Good on a Dismal Day!
This is the first HOS/adventure game I've played in a long time that is moody & NOT raining. I was getting moldy.
This is very much a HOG. Just about every other task is a HOS. If you don't like them, don't play this game.
The graphics are good, if a touch dark. Hey, moody right? If music is set low it sets the tone subconciously. If it's high it yells at you. The characters look like they are made of polyclay. Thought we'd gone by that. Is the only hitch in the game for me. There is much better 3D animation out there. Hints and strategy guide are good. Play the demo, see for yourself.

Very Enjoyable!!!
Based on demo - made me smile in places and thoroughly enjoyed playing. Hint recharged fairly quickly, loved the people in the game, HOG's not hard neither were the puzzles. Very relaxing game, I thought!! Can't remember the music, so must have been unintrusive - a fun game and worth a look. Had to change the curser as it dragged but no biggy!! Will be purchasing!!

Meh! Not for me.
A little too linear, the story is poorly put together and the HO scenes are boring, In fact the whole game is boring and under the circumstances the characters are much too complacent, the dialogue is very poor..

Sorry!
This game, have all the failure I dislike in a game. The flow in the game is poor, the 3D persons is made by a 3 years old child, the drawing is (grumset) Nor clear and nice. And really, after 30 min of gaming, this game closed down, just like this - BANG
Please Fish, give us some nice and good games instead of garbis!!!!

Does In A Pinch
This game is just ok, but with nothing else to play, I'll probably buy it when it goes on sale. Doesn't merit CE status. HOS are not clear enough. Dialogue is too lengthy. But at least you can click to continue. Cut scenes are slow and take up a lot of time.

LOVE EXPERIMENTS!!!
Storyline - You play a detective called in to solve a string of kidnappings of young women.
Animation/VOS - Excellent
Hint - Recharges quickly and acts as a guide.
Map - Does transport to areas of interest. I used the hint instead.
Journal - Lists information, photos and clues.
IHOS - Repeated, the usual small to large objects, a bit crowded.
Misclick Penalty - None
Puzzles/Mini-Games - Found some to be unusual but I did manage to solve a few.
Skip - Moderate recharge.
Inventory - Items used quickly in other locations.
Music - Soft, not intrusive.
Bonus Chapter - Same qualities as above but it was great to go back in time 100 years when the first abductions started and why.
A note to puzzle lovers - this may not be a game for you. Though I did not count the IHOS, they outnumber the puzzles/mini-games but you may still be interested in the adventure. Give it a try and happy gaming!!!

Good little Detective Story
Yes another detective story, many women have gone missing, and you have to find out why. Its been done before, but this was pretty good. There is inneraction with the characters, your not going back and forth to find items alot, It takes place in the 1700's, maybe early 1800's. Characters do help you thru the investigation, Some of the HO scenes were hard to click and receive an item, but overall not a bad little detective story.

Not CE length or really quality
With the bonus added to me playing the regular part of the game on normal mode - there was easy/normal/hard. With both parts of the game together it was still a lot shorter than some SEs ive played in the past... Quality of graphics were I felt lack of sharpness and clean edges in both scenes and HOGs.
I have seen Worse graphics and tons better... If it was a SE I would say they could have gotten away with the graphic quality... Not enough active spots in each scene led to some boredom...
A plus was decent voiceover.. The bonus didnt take long at all.... Def. not worth twice the price of CE... Easy and didnt need their map. which was of every active spot only about where you were.. Mini games were easy... Never even used or Opened the Strat. Guide... so I bought and played but most CEs I will go right back in and replay.. Not this one>> they got my money cause I needed a new game.. Not worth it.. I do recommend, But as a SE...
