Long Game and Keeps Your Interest
This is a very good game. There is only one big drawback: you have to go back and forth A LOT!! There is a map which does move you back and forth; that it if you can remember where an object needs to be used. It is another Fairy Tale, but really, how many themes can there be?

Just Finished this Game
The story is a classic. The graphics are really nice as well as the voice overs. Puzzles are fun and a bit different than the usual HOG. I really enjoyed it and you will too.

No breaking neurones but very entertaining game
Love the storyline, graphics, level of difficulty very doable. tons of things to do and gather but not confusing and a good map to travel. And a good length game with that. It's a winner for me.

among a glut of fairy tale-themed games, it's still worth a credit
I was wary of demoing after reading the first review, but I'm glad I did. while there's nothing uber-challenging about the adventure or puzzle part of the game, the hidden object scenes will leave you searching intently for one or two items. while the colors are muted, I found them appropriate for the mood the developers were going for. it was also a pleasant surprise to have a fragmented hidden object scene pop up unexpectedly.
I could have done without the dialogue, I think they could have presented the storyline in a much better manner than they did. however, it wasn't enough to detract from the game too much and wouldn't prevent me from purchasing it.
the gameplay seems to flow pretty well, it doesn't plod along (with the exception of the previously mentioned dialogue). there is a map that allows you to jump to other locations and gives you a preview of the area, and a pretty detailed journal that records whatever important details you might need later. I found the game to be of average length.
the sound effects and soundtrack were not obnoxious, they didn't really get my attention at all.

not great but good
Not a bad game. There are different HOS to give you something different. Hint button works good. Lots of reading. Got it for free, do not think I would have paid for it.

BRILLIANT FAIRY TALE!!!!
I was entranced playing this game, it was WONDERFUL from start to finish. BEAUTIFUL graphics and brilliant cut scenes make this game really lovely to play. Hint system good,map good, can't fault this game in any way. Well worth the money and beautifully told. GORGEOUS!!!!!

Love and Magic, Beauty and the Beast
I played the beta version of this game, so I had an idea of what was to come. But I never expected it to be such a great game.
The game is a re-telling of the classic tale, Beauty and the Beast, with some differences from the original tale. The artwork was wonderful, the voices...well, some could have been better (personally, I couldn't stand Bella's...#, but there is voice over...The hint and skip buttons recharge rather quickly, so you're not kept waiting for too long.
Drama, Surprises, Love, and Magic await you in this game #among other things...). This game is great!

Great fun with an old fairy tale!
Really enjoyed this game! Yea its basically the same Beauty and the Beast story, they didn't stay to the exact story line which is good but the same important elements were there. It was a good length for a game and was a lot of fun to play. I look forward to more like it.

BEAST REMINDED ME OF THE 1980S TV SHOW
A great game all around with the exception of very little animation and the vos - characters' mouths not moving when they spoke.
IHOS - Variety of list type and fragmented. Fairly clear in some areas, gray in others.
Misclick Penalty - None
Journal - Lists objectives and other information.
Hint - Recharges quickly and acts as a guide.
Characters were beautifully drawn and looked very realistic.
Inventory - Items used fairly quickly in other locations.
More IHOS than puzzles/mini-games. Fast skip recharge.
Great deal of back tracking from one location to another.
Enjoyed the scenery, the castle interior and exterior, the pink floral bushes were beautiful.
If you're not an IHOS lover, this game may not be for you. For others, buy, enjoy and happy gaming.

Not exceptional, but a nice SE.
Minor complaint (and personal preference)..we do enough clicking around in a game while playing, without the need to click again on an item we already picked up (rather annoying and a waste of time). Anyway, not a bad game at all.
Nice clear graphics, although a bit cartoon like. Love the accent in the voice-over, although Belle sounds a bit put on. Game play nice, music okay. Didn't care for the first HOG...I prefer color in my HOGs so I can find things easier. I don't mind the need to really look for them, but monochrome is really boring and it doesn't play nice with your eyes.
Hint seems to recover quickly and is helpful. I think I need to pay more attention to the book in this game. It's hard for me to do, because I like to play and do not want to have to read my way through a game.
That being said, this was a nice little game. Nothing new or exciting, not exceptional, but a nice SE for a change. Thanks!!! Slightly different twist on a very old story. I am going to use a credit for this one.
As always, play it for yourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in games and you may not care for it at all. Thanks for the reviews.
