Cute Game So the main story is fairly straightforward, you are looking for your father, but there are also lots of little side stories you can complete for stars and gold, both of which are important. I liked all the little quests, and how you had to strategize how you used your energy and your money, and figure out the best ways to earn more money. It is a little hard to see the things you pick up, since they aren't highlighted by giant yellow symbols as everything else is, but still fun. There are several skills you can learn, though I am not sure how important they are in the long run, as I have only played the demo so far. A lot of handholding, but that means you can focus on the strategy and not how to complete tasks. Sounds are not too annoying, artwork is okay, all in all a cute little game. December 20, 2012
Makes you think. I tried this one out expecting problems due to the first review but was very pleasantly surprised. You have to interact with everyone / everything as you move through the kingdom so very engrossing. My only suggestion would be to make the mushrooms / hidden treasure easier to see as at times I was clicking away at random bumps (oo-er missus :o)). All in all a pretty good adventure game with good re-playability; always a good thing in my book. December 20, 2012
I actually enjoyed it. This game does not give you a lot of instruction. It gives you some basics and then expects you to intuit the next steps. (for example, it tells you that you need mushrooms, so you have to intuit that the little mushroom like blobs near the forest edges are mushrooms. I clicked on them and it collected it though I wasn't sure if that would work.) I played the entire demo and still didn't defeat the bandits and I know there is more since you can't pass the soldiers until that is done so I think I will actually buy this one. The only thing I didn't like was how often you have to go back and forth and that you have to sleep to earn hearts so that you can do the tasks. December 20, 2012
Hero of the Kingdom The person who reviewed the game above me might of been bugged because I had no problems at all figuring out what to do next. The only problem I found with the game is that I could not find a way to see what all I needed for the quests without going to each person I was doing a quest for. Otherwise it was a cute game. fun adventure for the eagle-eyed This is the type of game I enjoy. No, it's not fast-moving, and you need to find some very small stuff, but there are a lot of quests happening, plenty to find and do, buy and sell. There are a lot of different locations, and a map you can gradually uncover and use to jump from place to place without retracing all your steps. I didn't get stuck at any time, and I plan to buy this game with my next credit. December 20, 2012
Great Thinking Game This game requires you to think and look at everything. Yes, the story is that your father is missing and you feel the need to go after him after your farm is attacked by bandits. There are tasks everywhere. Some tasks are flagged in yellow and others are things you need to find by looking. There are mushrooms, crayfish, gold and eggs everywhere. They just need to be clicked on to pick them up. You will find that you need them in unexpected places so pick them up so you don't have to double back. You really need to click on every yellow task bubble. Just because you don't have the items in your inventory, doesn't mean you can't do the task. For parts of the story, you need to finish every task you come accross. Other tasks cannot be accomplished until you move to the next part of the map which means you have to double back sometimes. To get some of the speeches to move faster, click on the words. They light up in yellow and that means you can speed things up. Other speeches can be sped up by clicking the check marks within the speech boxes. If you quickly scan the speeches, you will get enough of an idea of what is required of you. There are also pictures of what and how many you need of items. Honestly, I really likes this game. The speech bubbles can be a little confusing if English is your first language (not sure what language this game was translated from but is wasn't done well). This is an adventure game that is not like any I've played in a long time. I may just have to buy this game although I did manage to attack the bandits, save a prince and join the army all within the trial. This needs some thinking! Definately worth a look. Give it a try; it can always be uninstalled. December 20, 2012
A good game I didn't have any problems knowing what to do next. Some better music would've helped, it has two tracks: standard, and dramatic. They were OK but not great. I liked that the game doesn't hold your hand, you have to pay attention to things, like the mushrooms you can pick don't signal that they can be picked, same for the eggs and lobsters. And that different rest places cost different items to use, of the two rest places in the first hour I played, one cost bread for the night and one cost fruit. The treasure I found also didn't signal, so you have to keep your eyes open and experiment. I enjoyed it and will buy it. December 20, 2012
some HO some TM game It was a little slow to get started but once I got into the story, I could not stop. It has a surprise ending so I think you should give it a try. December 21, 2012
Great game; The game play is not obvious but It is fun once you understand what is expected. It is a change from the usual. I have purchased the full version of the game. December 21, 2012
Not a time management! This is definitely miscategorized as a Time Management, because it's anything else but. But this adventure game certainly has many unique aspects. There's a bit of HO in that you collect small mushrooms/eggs/gold etc on each map that you can trade for gold, potions and make other crafts with to help you on your journey, but mostly an adventure game, figuring out what to buy/trade etc to help you progress through the maps. The storyline is interesting, but the English and grammar leaves a little to be desired. It's fairly linear, I'm hoping for some real brain-teasing challenges as I progress. There's a "hint" button that tells you what your current challenge is, so I'm assuming I'm right. The graphics are great - different concept and it's nice to have a full widescreen game, I haven't seen one in ages! All in all, intriguing. I have a feeling I'll be spending a credit on this one when the trial is up. December 20, 2012
