Does it answer the questions that were raised during the demo?
Does she have something to do with Tommy's death? Where did she get the mask that she gave to Tommy on his birthday? Who is the man in the mask? Will they get married? All of these questions are urging me to buy this immediately after I finish this review. The graphics are well done and crisp. The hint button recharges quickly and can be used for directional help. The map has to be found but is very useful in telling you where you have things to do. The hos are appropriate for the time period and a little junky but had no problems finding the objects. The mini games were relatively simple and fit into the scenes unobtrusively. The storyline was gripping and dragged me into it almost immediately. The music was appropriate and I did not find it annoying as I do other sound tracks. The found objects (which you may receive more than one# were immediately obvious to where you were supposed to put them. It was just right in difficulty #enough not to get bored). I thoroughly enjoyed this game and am going to take advantage of the Christmas sale to purchase it.

Great game
I did the BEta on this game an could not waitfor it to come out. This is a game that will not dissappoint you. Great storyline, an challenging.

a high-standard game
Other reviews have discussed what the game is about, so I just want to mention some plus and minus points which others might find useful.
Plus: * excellent graphics, very atmospheric game. OK so some of the locations are a little extreme, but still, atmosphere is what you want in a game.
* some really nice touches such as the posters in the cinema (you'll need to have played other games by this developer to really enjoy them)
* nothing startlingly new in the puzzles, but they are all done well.
* a good length. And the main version ends in a very satisfactory way so buyers of the CE version won't be disappointed. However, I liked that the bonus chapter also seemed long and led to some new locations.
* flashbacks (videos) added to the atmosphere and helped to explain the plot (but see below)
Minus: Actually not really 'minus', just a few niggles.
The plot eventually made sense but did have what I thought were some odd disconnected bits. And some of the things you found out seemed to be not quite in the right order, but perhaps that was just me.
This isn't really a minus but it is amazing how in these abandoned towns things still seem to work... (where does the power come from?)
Anyway a good game and certainly worth spending the money on.

Excellent Game
This is one of the better games I have played...the Graphics were good, I liked the storyline, and there were Hidden Objects that were reasonable to find, not impossible, and were not weird renditions of whatever the developer felt like maing in HO...I realized after playing the 1st hour, I wanted to buy the Collector's Edition...Also that Bonus content (i.e. additional hidden object play) made it well worthwhile....My high reviews were consistent with th other high reviews I read....This was worth the CE price....for me.!!!

A Truly Fantastic Game
This is the first game that has grabbed me and would not let me go in a long while! It is purely mesmerizing.
- Great Story Line
- Map, although not interactive it is very helpful
- Hint button very useful
-Voice overs really good
-Characters are very real and well done
-Beautiful graphics
- Just the right amount of HOS
I have nothing negative to say about this game. It was a great ride!

Adding this one to my collection!!!!
Only played half an hour of this game and am buying. Graphics aren't crisp and clear but are in keeping with the story, music is excellant, in my opinion, and suits this type of game. First HOS was to find items to go with the outline and then use to get another item etc. Second was a standard HOS which was not a jumble of things that you have difficulty in seeing. In the little I did, enjoyed the minigames and have no hesitation in recommending this game.

Great buy for Me
This game was a bit creepy. Even made me jump a little which is hard to do. Graphics were great. Love all of strange things that move as well as cute things that react when you put a cursor on them during game and in the HO's. I really liked the HO's.
The game had me completely absorbed. But after reading some disappointing things on the bonus I will settle for the SE. To bad because a great bonus chapter would had me buying the CE. I also like to see games left open for Sequels and this would had made a great Sequel.
Characters were good, the story was great. I had a great time. The music was relaxing but wish there always was a bigger bouquet of different music with each game.

good game
Just completed the CE version of this game, and have to say the bonus game play was better than in many other games. Storyline was ok, but graphics and atmosphere made up for weak-ish plot. Worth my 2 game club credits.

I really enjoyed this game!
I purchased the CE and glad that I did.
Nice music, lovely graphics, good characters.
From beginning to end I really, truly enjoyed this game. The story flows nicely, games are varied with just the right degree of difficulty (for me) and there are just enough HOS to keep you going but not so many that it goes overboard.
Definitely a good way to spend a few hours.
The ONLY improvement I would have liked for this game is that the map be interactive in that you could click a location and arrive there. There isn't an inordinate amount of running back and forth, what running there is is not excessive.

Somewhere between good & OK
This game offers a long playing time with good adventure, HO'S and puzzles.
My issues with this game is once again we have endless rain to create the mood and atmosphere. Then, the graphics were done so that everything looks dirty. I realize you are playing in an abandoned area but more creativity could be used to solve that problem.
I loved the music and that is my favorite part of this game.
I purchased this CE on sale and don't feel it's worth full price. Get the SE instead.
