I didn't expect this game to be so good. Now for the only thing I didn't like about it. There was a lot of going back and forth. That being said, the backtracking was only short distances. ( I have only done the demo at this point.) everything else is great! Ok, the theme is one we've had many times, but it didn't bother me so much. I was so busy trying to think things out, I did care about the storyline, except to reach the goal. January 2, 2013
I wanted to like it more... I keep coming back to this game and wanting to like it. It looks like a good story and the graphics are very pretty. I like the setting and the atmosphere it brings. I REALLY wanted to like it. But....there are FAR too many HO, one after another, every time you finish one and move to the next room, there's another HO scene to do. AND any time you have to go back to a previous room to pick something up or do a puzzle, the HO scene in that room, that you've already done, is active again. Yes there are different objects to search for, but when I have to stop what I'm doing every 3 mins I forget what it was I was supposed to be doing and what the story was about in the first place. I like doing HO scenes, just not in every single room. Someone who likes doing HOs that frequently will really like this game. That's why I do recommend this game. I bet it's really good if you can stay focused through all the HO interruptions. February 26, 2013
Vampires ?? Nasty plants ... A little miracle that I found this game !!! - Voice overs - Notebook - Interactive map - H0, you don't interact but you can swap them for puzzles - Good mini games - Good music that fits so well the story - Good graphics - Interesting story Really glad I found this game, bought it straight away. People get bitten and strange plants are invading the town, you investigate. This SE is really worth a try and a buy, so seldom we get a good one. Really enjoying myself with it February 4, 2013
Worth playing Although some of the reviews have talked about vampires I don't think that's particularly helpful. If you like vampire games you may be disappointed, but if you don't, well let's just say there's a twist to it. This game has lots of locations -- it's easy to forget where everything is, especially if you leave the game and come back the next day. But you do have a map and can jump to where you want (just be careful you don't miss something in another location). Sometimes it's easy to forget where things are. I enjoyed the game although there were a few niggles such as * in HOS a teacup being called a 'mug' and others similarly, which means you're searching for the wrong thing. Still, instead of the HOS you can decide to play a bouncing blocks game which helps to find objects. * one that;s not just in this game: finding an object and the text comes up something like "I should pick this flower/cut a piece of this fabric/whatever" when you have really no idea why you might need it. Obviously in games like this you try to collect everything you can, but sometimes it does strain credulity a bit. I thought the storyline was good, moved on by the occasional cut scene, with appropriate voices. The game is satisfying in length and the puzzles, while not being very new, are just challenging enough (I don't like having to skip them). Recommended. January 28, 2013
Very good game Good storyline: as a doctor, you are sent to a town to save a friend's daughter who was bitten by a vampire, and then is kidnapped by the vampire. HOS-lots of them, and very nice. Large and easy. Non-interactive Transport map Good puzzles, short skip Excellent graphics Nice mood music Diary Casual about 4 hours January 6, 2013
Very nice game I was surprised at this game. I did not expect all that much from it, but found it fun to play and fairly challenging. It is not a game to hurry through, there is a lot of back and forth. The graphics are good as well as the voice overs. The story line about average. It is well worth the price. I am going to buy this game. I think l most will enjoy playing it. January 3, 2013
very good game! I enjoyed the game, graphics are not the greatest but it had a good storyline. I played the full game and it is much longer in length than some of the most recent collectors editions. January 2, 2013
good value First.. this game was a lot of game for a SE price. it was long and had the look and feel of the old ERS games. A lot of the locations were beautiful. I did feel the story was rather predictable.. a young girl bitten and then taken by what seem to be vampires who use flowers?? Okay. But it had a ton of HO scenes, a story that flowed and mega inventory objects.. some of which took some time to figure out (the bats on the trunk for instance). The HO scenes were bright and colorful and I enjoyed figuring out what to do next. This was a solid but somewhat standard HOPA game from a developer I had not heard of before. This was a good start for them. Straight forward, well drawn, fun game. Some usual mini games. My only complaint would be that there was a lot of back and forth. Leave one location, get one object, return then leave to get another and return. Overall nothing exceptional but a good way to spend a few hours. January 23, 2013
Got to Give it Five Stars Why 5 stars cause I had a great time playing this game. I chose not to use the map instead opting to run around and find my own way. It allowed me to not only enjoy the game for a longer period of time but to also to stretch my brain a little. The HOG scenes were a tad easy, found objects quickly. I love a good story and this offered one. I think we will see that wicked blood sucking women again. January 19, 2013

Fallen: The Flowers of Evil

Is it just a high fever or something much worse? One doctor's house call is about to become an investigation!
