Not too hard This was a fun, relatively easy game trial. Nice for a break from really hard games, but not so simple as to be boring or dull. I liked it. January 5, 2013
VERY GOOD GAME I LIKE IT...FINALLY THEY GIVE US SOMETHING GOOD...ONCE IN A WHILE YOU FIND A VERY GOOD GAME AND IT'S NOT A CE...BF SHOULD GIVE US MORE OF THESE KIND OF GAMES...INTERESTING PLAYING HOURS... January 3, 2013
Not a bad SE This is a good HOPA, almost long enough to be a CE. It also has a very good map for jumping from place to place. I played on the hardest mode. The HOS scenes are pretty easy, the minigames easier versions of those you've seen before. You can't turn off voiceovers, but thankfully they are scarce. The biggest downside is the "mini cut scenes" e.g. you have a needle and thread and have to repair something, it shows you the repair in very slow and painstaking detail. There also is too much leading: " I need a hammer to break this". There are also some translation errors: a "flower" in an HOS scene is a green potted plant. It still was a fun game to get on a free credit. January 22, 2013
Fallen: The Flowers of Evil Well, what can I say, I"ll be brief. Loved this game. Yes, wish it would just keep going. Just the right amount of HOG and great storyline. Easy to follow, not to much running back and forth. I definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes Hidden Object Games. January 4, 2013
More file size than a collector's edition Gamers will get their time for their money. Lots of backtracking; perhaps it's the developer's way of advertising their graphical abilities. Locations are more detailed than the characters. Challenging puzzles, one may even forget this is just a standard game. April 2, 2013
Fallen: The Flowers of Ecil I really liked this game after I settled in to it. The story is very good. At times, the game did not seem logical regarding "what to do next", but at last, I was able to follow the game and I FINISHED it. What I thought at the beginning of the game was not what happened at the end. I love intriguing endings. It seems that there will be another game which will continue this story line. I really hope so. RJohn March 29, 2013
Can't recommend I found this game quite boring, the game just didn't have enough to entice me further, I only played 30mins of demo, but that's all I could cope with. I normally play the whole hour because the game may pick up...but I just couldn't do it with this. The game is fine, but the storyline just didn't cut it for me. March 19, 2013
Has anyone seen the storyline? It went missing after the intro. TITLE?Fallen: The Flowers of Evil VERSION?Standard Edition (demo) DEVELOPER?Taba Games GENRE?Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure (supernatural) STORYLINE?You play a physician who is treating a young woman who claims to have been bitten by a red-eyed monster. Only the flower she holds keeps her from excruciating pain. Meanwhile, the City of Blackburn is under quarantine and it's up to you to figure out what's going on. OVERVIEW?There is a LOT to do in this game and a LOT to keep track of. Almost too much. The storyline started out fairly well, but came to a screeching halt for the rest of the demo, that is to say, it didn't advance at all. No more bitten patients. No more flowers. No more red-eyed monsters lurking in the shadows. Yawn. GAMEPLAY?Standard point 'n' click adventure sprinkled with HO scenes and puzzles. Nothing at all innovative or original, I'm sorry to say. HO scenes are repeated (and with the items you already found magically back in place). Puzzles are all too familiar; none break new ground. INTERFACE?Journal: There is one, but I didn't even open it. Map: No idea. This game would be helped by a jump map, because there's a LOT of backtracking. Hints: In HO scenes, the hint points to an object on the list. In adventure mode, the hint guides you to where you can do something. Specials: None. Strategy Guide: N/A. TECHNICAL?Where to start? This game did NOT like my trackpad at all. Often, I had to click multiple times to get it to recognize the click. It wouldn't recognize my tap setting at all; I actually had to click. There were numerous bad translations in the HO scenes. "Knife" on the list was actually a cleaver. "Needle" on the list was a hatpin. GRAPHICS?Hand-drawn in very monotone pastels, which made the HO scenes difficult, as they were junkpiles. CUTSCENES?Cartoonish stills; no animation. Strange, because there was action animation during the game (key into lock, and such). MUSIC?I didn't even notice it. SOUND?Again, I didn't notice it. VOICEOVER?Not badly done, but not brilliant. SUMMARY?The major fault of this game is that the devs didn't do a great job integrating the storyline into the game. I felt like I was running around Blackburn finding items here and using them there for no real reason, as I didn't seem to be getting anywhere new or finding out anything new. There was no impetus to keep going?no glimpses of red-eyed creatures or bizarre flowers. No new victims or strange events. The storyline seemed to just drop off right after the intro. And, thus, so did my interest. March 19, 2013
Mixed feelings on this one I liked aspects of this game, but at the same there was a lot for me to dislike. First of all, the art/graphic design was beautiful. For the most part the HOS's were pretty clear and sharp. And the storyline was intriguing, a different take on vampires. And good eerie background sound effects. But, there was sooo much backtracking in this game to the point of just making the whole thing drag. I don't mind a little backtracking, but too much can really slow the game down to the point of boredom. If not for the great visuals, this would have totally ruined the game for me. I would rate this game a 3 1/2. Would have been a 4 if not for the irritating backtracking. I recommend it with reservations. If you don't mind backtracking, then go for it. The art is great and should be seen. I hope to see more games from this dev in future with less dragging along and retracing the same scene a dozen times. March 1, 2013
Too Much Running Around This game seemed a little short and I did not like having to Run all over the place Its a lot of going back and forth There is a map but that didn't lessen the aggravation for me.. February 19, 2013
