Too Much Running Around This game seemed a little short and I did not like having to Run all over the place Its a lot of going back and forth There is a map but that didn't lessen the aggravation for me.. February 19, 2013
Flower Power? You Bet! This is an eerie (but not gory) game which appears to be your average vampire saga but look deeper, play longer and you'll find it's someting else. Yes there are trances, wise helpful doctors and a graveyard but vampires? See for yourself. I highly recommend this game for its storyline, clear and colorful grapics, hauntingly appropriate sounds and excellent hint structure. Yes, some bits are trite or overdone but that's not a downer in a fantasy like this. My only negative (mild, that's why the "good" rating) is the large amount of running about and backtracking needed. The hint does show you the right direction, but it gets a bit tiresome. But don't let this put you off trying this eerie adventure. February 16, 2013
Beautiful game! I just love games like this! There are plenty of creepy locations and some vampire-plant people as well! Graphics, music, and mini-games make this one enjoyable game to play. Played the whole game on a rainy day and loved it! February 9, 2013
Surprisingly refreshing for a Standard Edition I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this game, especially as it was not a Collector's Edition. Everything was good, especially the length, which could put several Collector's Editions to shame. The story, however, is not new but not boringly so, as it kept my interest right throughout the game. A definite hit and well worth the money. Well done Big Fish. January 30, 2013
Didn't like it I thought the graphics were poor. Several items in the HOS were not labelled correctly; needle was actually a hat pin, hook was a block and tackle, etc. Way too much running around; as bad a Phantom of the Opera. Story didn't move much in the hour I played. No redeeming qualities and a no buy for me. January 2, 2013
Worse game ever Not only was it the worse game I have ever played, it took me 3 days to finish it thats how boring and tedious. constant running back and forth for small items made no sense either and some thngs did not "match up" such as a trident for a devil should have been a pitchfork and other things like that. DIFFICULT TO REVIEW Review based on completed game in casual mode. Animation/VOS - Good but not as much as I would have hoped for. Characters beautifully drawn. Pity their mouths and bodies didn't move much. HOS - Repeated junk piles. You can switch to a puzzle if you'd rather not do the HOS. Great deal of backing tracking. Puzzles/Mini-Games - Usual fare of easy to difficult. More HOS than puzzles. Misclick Penalty - None Hint - Quick recharge and acts as a guide. Map - Does transport but I found it easier to use the hint. Inventory - Objects used quickly in other locations. Expected to see a slew of vampires. Was rather disappointing in that aspect. All in all, not a bad game. January 16, 2013
Really Fun Game! Great Traditional HO Game. Three difficulty Levels Cute Story Line LOTS of HOS Challenging Puzzles. March 19, 2013
enjoyed this game i have played some really hard games lately so this one was refreshing. hints/skips charge fast. diary. don't have too many items in inventory at any given time. the games aren't too hard if you take the time to think them through. no sound and played casual, and again, i really enjoyed it!! It was okay. For me this game was okay. I found it to short and for some reason the last few puzzles were very difficult compared to the rest. Also the were no actual HOG games. I did however like the fact that you didn't have to go back and forth and back and forth a lot, and you never really got stuck on what to do next. January 21, 2013
