Stone good Great story: the stone queen is ticked off and she is turning everyone in town into, you guessed it!, stones. Brandon wanders into town looking for gas, and has to stay to solve the mystery. Good characters, with VOS HOS, interactive Transport map Good puzzles, short skip Cool animals, especially the 3 headed dog Great little helper gnomes Excellent graphics Good length: 5.25 hours casual January 13, 2013
A must buy! I knew after about 10 min that this was a buy for me! Granted, the graphics aren't top of the line, but I like the story and it's challenging without being frustrating. I'll do a more indepth review when I finish. I've given it 4 stars for now just because I have not completed the game. January 3, 2013
This is a Big Fish Keeper! Just played the demo and when it expired I was truely surprised I had been playing for an hour, I was so engrossed in the game moment. I was playing in advanced mode and I enjoyed the HO's and the puzzles that were different than the same old same old in a lot of games. Bottom line...my expectations are high and this game will be added to my inventory. January 6, 2013
Disappointing. First off, what is it with this family? The twin sister is always saving everyone. Doesn't she ever get in trouble? What about her life? Did she never get married? Have kids of her own? I guess she was too busy saving her dumb sister and equally dumb husband and son to have a life of her own. So Brandon has grown up and apparently has an uncle in Stoneville our heroine doesn't know about. He also has a secret girlfriend who lives underground. A bunch of stuff happens that makes no real sense and nameless twin has to save her nephew, the town, and eventually the Stone Queen. I guess, even though the first game said that these girls were identical twins of an evil wizard they're not identical in the brains department. And sadly it was the dumb one that bred. all over the place I found this game to be a very weird mix of just about everything. First the graphics and locations were breathtaking. tons of color and really beautifully drawn. But the story was quite disjointed and often made little sense. There was everything imaginable.. a stone queen and harmony queen, dragaons, gollums, live people, stone people, elves, monkeys, three headed dogs, a pheonix and on and on. At one point one of the humans decides to help me and jumps up to do some welding to repair a pipe. It took a few minutes to realize that he was never going to stop. hmmm. If this had had just a bit more fluidity it could have been great. Also for me I don't buy CE's for one extra after thought chapter. I buy them for more game play which this developer usually includes. But this one had none of it. No morphing, no collectibles, no acievements. Disappointing. I will prescreen form now on to decide whether to buy the SE instead. overall this game was good not great, beautiful but it seems like they threw the kitchen sink at it. If you like the extra chapter it's probably worth the CE. If you like game play buy the SE. January 12, 2013
Not Impressed Highly disliked this game. Don't even remember what the story line was because the constantly having to backtrack from here to there throughout the whole game killed it for me. I tuned out and just went through the motions to get to the end. I think I skipped every challenge just to get the game over with. Very disappointing. January 14, 2013
