Could be more challenging The Phantasmat series is a fun group of games. They are long and all have great storylines. There is enough lateral thinking required to find all the items and use them in the right way to keep it interesting - although some solutions are a little strange. This one only lacks in the lack of complexity in the puzzles - just mind-bogginly too easy. I am wondering if future puzzles in all games can have additional levels of complexity installed - like the optional advanced buttons for gameplay - this ought to increase the difficulty of puzzles. And I am sooooo over hidden object searches - why oh why? They are tedious and boring. January 5, 2013
Very, Very good game I was HUGE fan of the initial game and this seemed to have the same wow factor. There was a bit too much running back and forth that seemed pointless but overall was a solid game. however...I have been with Big Fish for many , many years (preferring HOA games) and this is by far the saddest one I have ever played. The story line almost had me in tears. But I am thinking that was the point I guess. January 7, 2013
Below-Average Game When I started this, I was expecting another great game from ERS, but sadly, this was not the case. (based on 40 minutes free trial) Good Parts: HOS are good. Include extra step objects. There was also the option to switch to Match 3 Mode, which I also enjoyed very much. I didn't get the chance to get in to the storyline much, but from what I played, I thought it was good. Great graphics as usual, intro looks real. Graphics are animated very well. Great voice-overs. OK Parts: At first, I struggled to figure out what to do with the game, but once I got going, it was ok. I liked a few of the puzzles, but others were either confusing or too challenging. Bad Parts: I originally started on Advanced mode, but the hint took too long to charge,(2 minutes) so I switched to Casual. Even on Casual, the hint and skip took 1 minute. On casual mode, the hints are way too easy. On this mode, it's all hand-holding. Game really needs a strategy guide. Overall this was a bit of a disappointment. It was so not like many of the wonderful games this developer has produced, and believe me, there are many of them, and I can't see any reason to recommend it. January 7, 2013
Great game This was a really good game. The skiing was really cool, had a great story, music was not annoying. I really enjoyed this game. January 4, 2013
Well constructed game Though a little short this game didnt have any bells and whistles but had a good flow to the game and kept me interested to the end. The hint button was useful when not sure where to go next. The graphics were great. Not too many hidden object scenes and they were clear if a little crowded. The mini games were interesting if a bit simple. Good starter game for someone new to this type of game. January 5, 2013
Meh, it's not much. The story wasn't too bad but the navigation is clumsy without an active map. I found it difficult to remember where certain places were and when using the hint option, it would tell me to go to a place where I had no idea of where that location was. The artwork is fair, only fair. I know if I were to try to draw this stuff, I couldn't do it but as a game, I would have expected it to be clearer and more precise. I gave it three stars, because I've played much, much worse but wouldn't play it again. February 15, 2013
I don't see why people complain about it not being like the original. The pattern is just the same, just a different environment. In fact, the bonus chapter in the collector's edition made the story more enhanced than the first. March 6, 2013
Makes you think I loved this game from the first little bit of playing it. I have now played it through twice and it gets better every time. It is very well drawn and the characters are great. The story line is very interesting and the games and the thought process you need to use are great. Takes awhile to figure things out and then BAM it is all fun from there. Help button is good too!! Hope you enjoy it. I will, again and again. March 2, 2013
Another Winner from Ers I loved the first Phantasmat, and I loved this one too. I played it on hardcore, so it took me longer than usual, but everytime I figured something perplexing out, it felt like victory. Such a fun game! February 27, 2013
Fantastic game! This was an amazing game with an original and suspenseful story, beautiful graphics and fun puzzles. I loved the fact that the game was in a snowy alpine setting. A great game, a real treat! February 25, 2013
