AGain ANother NIce One The HOS is the ones where you have to find all the pieces of each item to use them. Music is quiet, elevator style, nothing annoying. The only thing is when I made it 55 mins, it kept throwing me out. I will wait to buy, until I hear from others. It better continue, for it is one of the keepes. January 19, 2013
Mirror Mysteries - Greatly Anticipated??? I cannot imagine why this game would have been greatly anticipated. It is awful. I don't know what the developers were smoking, but this makes little sense, has annoying music, nonsensical seques, and annoying HOS. I did not last the hour demo, and would not buy it. Too bad, because Gogii has put out some good games. This is not one of them. January 19, 2013
Not a keeper I really wanted to like this game. The game play was just different enough to make it interesting. But there was not enough depth to the storyline. The music was monotonous and irritating; I had to turn it off completely so that I could continue. I played for the full 60 minutes, always hoping that the promise of a good game might be just around the next corner, but that promise was never fulfilled. January 20, 2013
Way to short I really liked this game, but there wasn't remotely enough game play. It was done before I could blink. :-( The hints were good, but didn't need to use them much. When the game loaded at nearly 500MB I was excited, only to have my excitement dashed in 3 hours of game play. I can't believe it took that much space to produce something so short. On the other hand the game play was excellent. I loved the puzzles. They were admittedly easy, but I enjoyed them. I turned the music off, but thought the voice overs were pretty good. Time spent on all the videos would have been better served by making the game longer. January 19, 2013
REALLY DISAPPOINTED I am the the owner of hundred of games bought here at bigfish games and i so enjoyed the first mirror mystery. however this one was so short and easy i almost forgot i even played it. it was over so quickly and the plots had so much potential but fell flat. January 19, 2013
Loved It I actually give this a 4.5 stars. Cons - Storyline... have no clue, I saved someone at the end of the game and it was a little too silly for me. Some hand holding No map, but don't need one. Not to much back tracking Easy to Medium game. Pros - Storyline... Enjoyed the game anyway. Didn't care what the storyline was. FROG .. Love finding fragments of items. I can tell some thought and work went into these. They are like mini-games. You use everything that you find unlike regular Hogs. Futuristic setting.. Really enjoyed the different worlds. Cool Train and other futuristic machines. Flow of game went smoothly and help Button worked good Relaxing and interesting game and it was definitely long enough for me. I spent several hours just enjoying it. January 21, 2013
Much anticipated sequel to the first Mirror Mysteries. This game has beautiful, sumptuous, intricate graphics. Blue ribbons to the artists!! Fantasy worlds, no ghosts, witches, demons, or mental asylums, just the evil Mirror! Reminded me a bit of Enchanted Paintings. Loved the water world with its floating islands. it rather resembled the blue world in the movie Avatar. The HOS scenes were interesting in that you had to create objects which impacted on the game. It was an enchanting journey and I wished it could have gone on and on. My only complaint was the game was too short. It was over too quickly! January 21, 2013
Not Bad, With nothing else to play The game wasn't awful, it was just Blah, didn't really have a storyline done well enough to hold your interest. If they would have taken the story an put more effort in, it could have been great. There is voice overs, it was somewhat short, an it was a fragment HOG, so overall it was a "Just something to play." Nothing Great January 19, 2013
Demo Ended Quickly The story is fairly standard in that you have to rescue someone stranded in a mirror, all the while solving HO puzzles and being menaced by a voice from within the mirror. Travelling through a mirror is a fun component of the story. However, when I arrived in a clock tower and saw a train, I had a flashback to series I read in the 1990?s. Hm? What I liked about this game was that the graphics were lovely; the music was pretty good, but became monotonous when a puzzle took a bit longer to solve; the HOs were different in that you needed to find groupings of items to solve the puzzle and you ended up with an item to be used later; the cut scenes were nice and quick; and not too much dialogue was needed to move forward. Additionally, there were cartoon films that informed you about the train and elements of the story, and these were done in black and white 1940?s style which added character. What I didn?t like about the game was that I was through with the demo in about 40 minutes. There were only four mirrors to complete, and they went quickly. I didn?t like the owl either. He looked as if they allotted the design of this character to a junior artist, and although his information was essential, visually he looked as if he had escaped from a child?s coloring book. The voice overs were also a little irritating, especially the owl. Although I enjoyed this game initially, when I finished as quickly as I did I was very disappointed. Perhaps the full version offers more, but I won?t know that as I won?t be purchasing it. January 21, 2013
Enjoyed it I liked this game a lot. The graphics were excellent, the storyline was simple and straightforward. I thought the puzzles were very different, which I liked. The problem I had with them is sometimes not knowing what I was supposed to do with it as there were no directions. Had to go to the walkthrough when i got to the gyroscope because I kept going back and forth out of the room because every time I clicked on the pool it just told me I wasn't done yet. The game is not too long but still gave me several hours of play. I felt it was worth the money. January 20, 2013
