Rave reviews, Great game.
Played the demo and planning to buy! You will love this game as well. This game has a little bit of everything.. Creepy villian, evil jester clown puppet, missing teenagers, classic books with portals, and thats just in the demo! The HO's are reversed where you are given the item in your inventory and you have to place them into the scene. The puzzles are entertaining not difficult but the kind that makes you think, swapping pieces to make a portrait, dividing equal weights on a scale, moving a figure through a maze with specific number of moves etc. The inventory items you collect throughout the game does require going back and forth a bit,(map available) but it is easy to figure out where they go and what they are used for. So play on easy mode and relax or go for hardcore either way I'm sure you will enjoy!

keys galore
This game is a journey into ridiculousness. It begins with 3 students who went to the library and now seem to be magically trapped in books. Good concept right? Well as it turns out ony one book. Romeo and Julliet. No achievements, no morphing, no collectibles. Done by Elephant games the graphics are everything we know and love but the storylne is all over the place. More trying was the array of locks. You needed a massive amount of keys including a note, red cross, skull, .leaf, rose, frog, crown, shield, crest, snowflake an assortment of medallions and on and on and on. Believe me I could keep going but you get the picture. As you enter the library you find some semi dead people holding notes and some guy with an evil looking puppet who pops in and out throughout the game. huh? I was into the third of four chapters when the library wall fell open to reveal a frozen area guarded by a fire knight???? sigh ok that's it. What happened to the books? I dunno. At that point I gave up. After putting together an elevator to no where I had had enough. Too bad as I had once stated Elephant games to be my fave. But they have begun pumping out games like crazy and at least for me, have lost their way. This one was too all over the map for me. I didn't even finish the game never mind the bonus chapter.

Demo review
I thoroughly enjoyed this game. It was different and since I love going to the library, this was a great acknowledgement of that institution. The hos were fun and different and on casual (which) I normally do first, they give you the hints that something needs to go somewhere. I checked out the strategy guide when I had to solve the puzzle of the puppet master and puppet. It was informative, and seemed well done. I liked the entrances into the book, some usage between "time periods". Missed having achievements, but the interactive map was well done and very useful. All in all this was a great game and will be getting it as soon as I can.

Going to buy this one
I just finished the trial for the CE, and I have decided I will buy this one when the SE comes out. I did not use the Strategy Guide at all over the length of the trial, so I hate to pay for it when I don't need it. I do, however, intend to get this one because it was just so darned fun.

So disappointed
I was so expecting to LOVE this game. And I didn't. The story line was OK, but the to and fro-ing into the various parts of the story was tedious and with no map disorienting.
I did love that the HOG were matches rather than missing objects, but other than that this was a 'meh" for me

LadyHawk
I found this game both entertaining and educational although we all pretty much know the story of Romeo and Juliet. The fact that you can actually change the ending is great. The special effects were great, I loved replacing the hidden objects rather then finding them and even the length of the game was good. I normally can finish a game pretty quickly but with this one I actually chose to go slow, enjoy the scenery and the story it was fun hopping in and out of books. It almost felt like being Mary Poppins. Great game!

Demo Based Good Twist on Classic Story
I played the demo and as usual with these developers they produce a great game.
Good Stuff
1--graphic clear and crisp and very colorful (one reviewer may need an updated graphic driver as he said the graphics were blurry as well as the cut scenes)
2--voiceovers were good
3--helpful characters in story
4--transporter map (beam me up Scotty)
5--hint button tells a lot do not need SG
6--music not annoying at all
7--HOS different from regular you put stuff where it belongs, sometimes it's a bit difficult to find where it goes
Bad Stuff
1--lots of back and forth, but with the map it's not too bad
2--hint button in HOS is really fast revealing where the object needs to go so keep a good eye out.
Demo ends at a certain point in the game which is frustrating as I didn't use the full hour, gives you more incentive to buy it. Which I probably will.
Hmmmmm, wonder if they are going to do a series on this game?????????????????

not elephants best game
Has good story, voice over and graphics but there is lots of going all over the place to find things. Different HOS but easy. Puzzles are ok, some hard and some not. Hint button works great. Has a map and all the other things you need in a game. Just not interesting after awhile. Try it first.

Death pages
I found this game rather nice. It downloaded as quick as other games I have bought or tried as demo. Will maybe buy it when funds allow.

Nice, but not exceptional!
Elephant is one of my favorite devs, but I have been very disappointed in the last couple of games they put out. This one is up to their usual excellent graphics and game play. Nice SG and hint system. Simple games. HOGs nice, but need a bit of a change up and not straight "place it here." A different story line for a change and I like the voice overs, although not much talking.
This game did not have anything exceptional...no morphing objects, or anything extra or unusual to find to help within the game. Very disappointing on that level, because there isn't much challenge.
I got through the "one hour" demo with 23 minutes to spare. I was heading to the next "help me" when it ended, so that means I have 3 more chapters and a bonus chapter left. If the other chapters take the same amount of time to complete, this will be a short game (anything under 3 hours is very short). This game did not hook me in from the beginning, but it was enjoyable. I don't feel it is CE worthy because of the length, but I will wait until the SE comes out and add it to my Elephant collection.
As always, try it for yourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in games and you may not care for it at all. Thanks for the reviews.
