Not My Cup of Tea! While I did enjoy the HO"S and the graphics......The storyline was confusing! Which key or amulet goes where! Too much jumping from one scene to the next and then back! If one didn't have hint's to use, in this game...It would be difficult to finish! February 17, 2013
OK Game, But.... Shakespeare must be rolling in his grave after the developers of this game butchered his work, especially after throwing Dorian Gray into the mix. Give me a break! Just plain awful. Game play was OK with the usual, for this developer, tons of objects needed. The HOS are all replace items, and the puzzles are OK. The HINT button works well during game play, so you really don't need a SG. Lots of back-and-forth, and although I saw that others found a map, I didn't see it. Could have saved my clicking finger a lot of effort. Artwork is good, but the VOs aren't. The bonus chapter is long, but it really doesn't add to the story. In fact, it makes it worse - the Dorian Gray bit. I don't recommend the CE version of this game. Maybe the SE. February 8, 2013
Got Dizzy Going Back & Forth I usually really like Elephant games, but this one was so back and forth. Good things were the Hidden Placement rather than hidden object. February 6, 2013
A Twisted Fantasy Death Pages: Ghost Library...not very many ghosts but a good deal of adventure. A mad psycho and his hand puppet who steals their souls to live out tragic and fatal Shakespearean drama what more could you need. The story is appealing and mini-games and puzzles a blend of easy to difficult. Wonderful jump map which eliminated all the running around and going between the three books. A fantasy story with a wicked twist. February 3, 2013
Finished Game Review This is an excellent game. New and different mini puzzles. You put things where they belong rather than look for hidden objects which was kind of refreshing. It is even a little educational. The story and mystery will keep you wondering, making you want to keep playing to see what is around the corner. Great map for traveling around to all the places. Really loved the Owl. I will play this again I am positive. You can't go wrong getting this CE. ~Good Luck Fish~ February 2, 2013
Nice game very interesting storyline, excellent graphics like always in the Elephant standards(loved the helping owlet!!), easy puzzles but original and not boring, funny hidden objects scenes...I found a bit too short the main game, especilly compared to the bonus, then was really good, but is anyway a game to try. Nice Ride, Weak Plot Lovely as ever from this developer - great graphics, lots of color, atmospheric art. Music nice but not always appropriate to the scene. Pros: The art. Good game play, useful map, puzzles fairly conventional and not overly difficult. Cons: Plot all over the place. Voice acting fair at best. No character development on any of the principal characters, and the villain remains a complete mystery. What was actually going on here? And why did the Prince of Denmark suddenly pop up in Verona? Overall: Straight, unimaginative rescue story with no real emotional connection to anyone involved - weak writing gave it a mechanical quality that the art couldn't redeem. Still, a fun world to roam around in. January 30, 2013
Poor music I don't usually write a poor review but I felt this game deserved it. When I started playing I thought this would be a game I would buy, but the longer I played, the lack of music was so obvious, I found myself listening for the very sporatic music more than paying attention to the game.Needless to say I did not purchase this game. How did I get there? Nice game play, but had to use hints/guide more than I cared to. Got lost a few times, and storyline made little sense, like not a lot of thought went into it. Artwork was good, though. January 28, 2013
What Happened? I have almost every single elephant game there is, usually purchased without playing the demo, as they have never disappointed me. I usually read reviews and that helps me determine about investing my cash. This was such a let down, I felt I had to say something. It was very short, at the middle level and almost too easy. I will, after this one, play demos from now on by this game maker, which is sad, as I trusted them and their product for being the best out there! January 28, 2013
