A must have!
Wow, wow and wow! Need I say more? Well, I will anyway. I wasn't going to buy as many CEs this year as I have been, but then, here comes Elephant with another awesome game. Exceptional graphics and game play. HOGs nice and not difficult to find items. Games easy, but take a little thought. Very nice SG (although not as clear and realistic looking as the game itself). Only played 16 minutes before deciding to buy, so didn't use the hint system.
I absolutely love the voice overs. They completely fit the character and sound very convincing, not like someone just reading a line with no feeling. Probably the best I have seen so far. Really liked the beginning, really drew me in right away. Of course, I'm a huge Poe fan.
No, there really isn't anything new with the story line, a change here and there, but very well done, as always. I really like the extras within the game...makes it more interesting and fun.
As I said, this game drew me in from the beginning scene and I am purchasing today. I think this one would appeal to all HOG lovers, whatever your level of play may be. As always, try it for yourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in games and you may not care for it at all...I would be extremely surprised if you didn't. Thanks for the reviews.

WOW!! Fantastic game!!
You as a detective must investigate some strange events that started during the annual celebration. Something happened 13 years ago on that same day and now mysterious organ grinder seeks his revenge with deadly outcome. Who is he, what happened 13 years ago, and will you be able to stop him?
3 modes of gameplay: casual with sparkle indicators, hint button recharges quickly; advanced with no sparkle indicators, hint takes longer to recharge; hardcore with no help in any way.
In CE version you have a strategy guide, bonus content ? extra gameplay, extra mini-game, also you are collecting cursed cards, lost pets.
Story is fantastic, I was hooked from the very beginning, graphics and music are absolutely amazing, well designed characters and locations.
You have a map with all information you need- it shows place with your current task, objectives. There is no regular journal, but each time you collect one cursed card you basically get some of the information.
Hidden object scenes are very well done, cleverly hidden objects, but you don?t need to spent 15min in search for them, they are interactive, clear.
Puzzles are PERFECT, many different types of them, so it?s always interesting and it?s impossible to get bored. Level of challenge varies so it?s suitable for everybody.
I must say amassing game, definitely try it out! Worth every minute of playing!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME
Stunningly beautiful wide screen graphics make this game an absolute pleasure to look at. The story is not unique but it is well told and even though predictable, I did like it. You must investigate and right the wrong done an innocent man by a lustful and evil old Mayor who has made an orphan of a little girl to further his own ends. A thoroughly nasty piece of work. All the locations are a treat, wonderfully depicted and so enjoyable to roam around.
There are just the right amount of iHOS, all clear and sharp and very quick. The puzzles are mostly familiar and very, very easy, so they are not much of a challenge at all. The navigation is flawless, as are all the mechanics. The hint is directional and there is a jump map. There are collectibles but no achievements. Instead, they have put a number of new things in the Extras, like Jig Saw Puzzles, Lost Pets Inventory, which is just gorgeous, and a new mini game, as well as the usual others. There are seven chapters in the main game which came in at just under 4 hours for me. The ending could be called conclusive, in a way, but for logic's sake, the 1.15 hr BC is, in my opinion, necessary. It only has 1 new location in it, but interiors of the old ones have been changed.
You have a little fiery helper named Terrance and he's a peach. I must say the accent of the "villain" is quite atrocious. Nowhere in the UK will you ever hear the like. Does not exist. I could have done it better for them myself and I do not even have a British accent. But the others were ok. The music is not constant, but comes on very dramatically at times of significant events and is rather grand.
The cut scenes are also perfectly done, quick and smooth.
There is an in-game feature of 12 poetic cards that are given to you at varius intervals, which are part of the ending and very interesting.
Buyer beware - there is a simply gargantuan snake that you must deal with in one scene. A few spiders but none real, just in the iHOS and as an emblem for a puzzle.
While I really appreciate this game and all that has gone into it, it is not their best. That said, it is very good but it should have packed more of a wallop. It feels a little stunted, as though they finished it quickly and sooner than they intended. Perhaps incorporating the BC into the main game and creating another chapter for the bonus play would have rounded it off better.

Tune of make me Happy
Finally a great great game. I love the fire bird being used like in other games when they had a dog help with things. I believe the same game maker. Sorry if mistaken. Soo fun I am buying it to day.
Beautiful scenes and great characters. Love all the Poe's poetry spouting off and on so ominously when revenge strikes. Lots to do very easy going game. It was almost to easy until I got to one puzzle and had to much going on around me so I skipped it but can hardly wait to buy it so I can really start over.
Super game did not even notice if the music was good or not I was so absorbed in the story.

Good game and not that hard
this developer has good games. The hint button works good and the game has a good flow. My only complaint is the voice over is hard to understand. The music is good and the graphic is also good. The HOS are easy. Good game to get.

Great Hidden Object Game
Loved playing this game , the story line was wonderful, puzzles were different and interesting to play. Sound and graphics were great, I ended up buying this game and thoroughly enjoyed playing.

Another great game from Elephant Games!!!!!!!
Just love these Devs!!! Great start with Poe's poem, got me hooked then and there!! Pretty basic game, find this, use that but still loved it. Mini-games and HOPA'S easy but the game is fun to play and that is what it's all about. Loved the little baby pheonix and it's a buy for me.

Developer does it again!!!
I absolutely loved this game. Yes it was easy, but so much fun to play and the extras are as awesome as a great dessert after a fantastic meal. The graphics are incredible, the music is also very well done and fits in with the story. The story line makes sense and progresses in a logical pattern. You can almost feel a sense of sorrow for the organ grinder and understand his need for revenge. the bonus chapter is also well done and carries on the story, The SG is very helpful but I did not need it very often. Also the hint button is helpful but did not really need it either. The mini games are all fairly easy. For the more experienced gamers this may be too easy but for me it was perfect. I have yet to be dissapointed in a game from this developer. The lost pet collectables are fun as well as the puzzles in the bonus content. Just an all round fun game. Love it!!!

Fantastic Spooky Game & Song
I listened to the full opening song of the creepiest sounding voice I have ever heard and it spooked me out! Awesome! Every time I hear the villian's voice it truly fits the evil character. I love how the game is interactive and we get to do more than just find the hidden object. The map is perfect and teleports you to where you need to go. E.G. Congratulations on the best game in my opinion thus far. Elephant Games I buy all your Games because I know there are never glitches in them and storylines always are interesting. Voice overs done are perfect! Graphics are colorful and gorgeous!

Wonderful game!
This game is chock full of everything you could want, great story, beauiful graphics, not too many HOGs, and the mini games make sense with the story and aren't to hard. It gets really creepy at times too! I also loved the fact that the sounds were realistic to the game, not just endless repeated music, but sounds that fit what was happening in the game.
Kinda the same storyline as most, but yet different enough to keep it interesting. I just loved it. The end is really fun!
I am so glad I bought this one, its a keeper!
Again, I love the interaction with the animals... Great game!
Only complaint I would say, is more animals!
