Spirits of Mystery: The dark Mniotaur
Not bad game. Story line and graphics are very typical of the ERS Studio game output. To me, the graphics seem to be a bit "cartoonish" to my liking. I have seen better from other programers. I did like the story line and the challenge was average. All in all not a bad game.

bought it because the other were good. good buy
I bought this with out trying it because the others were so good. This one is pretty much like the others. Has voice over and the graphics are good. Nice music. This is a pretty easy game. Did not use the hint button because it has a good flow and things are easy to find and figure out. Not a lot of going all over the place. HOS are good and the puzzles are not all that hard. A good game.

What happened to the ending?
I enjoyed this game from beginning to end, great illustrations and graphics, wonderful fairy tale world with fairies, elves and ogres. LOTS to do, many great locations that deserve to be looked at for a while to fully appreciate and discover.
The game overall wasn't super challenging but that's okay, sometimes I like an easier exploration game. The villains were a little cheesy but whatever. The sidekick animals were so cute, although they don't run around helping you or anything, they just give you special gifts when you feed them. The puzzles were not very hard and the hidden picture games were the ones where you find one object and use it tof ind the next object and so on, so it mixes it up a little for people who play a lot of these HOGs.
My ONLY complaint was that at the end it looked like I had the option of two doors to pass through, and after I made my choice I was lead to a cliff hanger ending that felt very unfulfilling and now I have to wonder if I should play the whole game again just to try the other door? I also feel like I may have had some objects left in my possession before the game ended but I couldn't go back and check so I guess I'll never know... Lol oh well. They'd better come out with a sequel!!

Lots of fun; nice graphics
This game was a lot of fun to play, and I was not bored through any of it. The magic animals added a nice touch to the game; I just wish the game had included more interaction with them. The graphics are lovely and the mini-games are interesting with some different ones than typically encountered. I gave this game 4 stars instead of 5 because it was a little shorter than other games I have played. I do recommend it, though.

What's Not to Like?
I really loved the bright colors and cute animals in this game. Appreciated that there was not endless back-and-forthing. Hidden Object Scenes were varied, some with lists and some with outlines and interactivity.
I wish there had been a few more puzzles/mini-games. It felt too short. Had it been longer, I would have given it five stars all the way.

Bad Game
The story starts out like it will be interesting - find the missing animals. But, turns out, they have little to do with the plot. In fact, there really isn't a coherent plot although an attempt is made.
Game play is poorly designed. Weird use of objects; bad and easy puzzles; HOS that are all IA and some that are silhouettes and have puzzles within them; no map; HINT button not helpful. Not much fun to play, really.
Artwork is the standard for this developer and is OK. The music is the same they use in all their games, and is really atrocious. I wonder if they have tried ITunes?
Others seemed to like the game, so I might have missed something. That would be easy to do with this boring, sleep-inducing game.

Work on the bugs
I'm a bit irritated with this game. It kept shutting down on me so I'd have to open the game over and over again until I turned off the voices, music and custom cursor. The music was bugging me anyway. The lag in the mouse was nagging me a bit though I do like that we don't go back and forth to the same area we started in. The magical animals were cute but only the first one gets noticeable use. The rest are used once near the end so it's easy to forget their in the game at all, which is bad since they are supposed to be a big part of the plot of the story. We also meet some characters who's only reason to be there is to make the game seem longer. Next time give us more to explore, fix the controls and visual images, don't forget the plot of your story, make less annoying music, add depth to your characters and don't add random people/things in just to make it a proper length game. Don't waste our time with pointless drivel after the demo! This is yet another game I'd recommend buying on sale as an SE cause it isn't worth full price.

Loved It !!
All I can say is don't miss out on this lovely game! Animal lovers will cheer when the Princess finds her friends. The "indepth" reviewers have it covered as to what, where and how. I just want to comment on the beautiful graphics. Rather than the dark and gloomy games, I like these lovely , fairy tale happy ending type game!! Keep them coming!!
