Great game, great solitaire! I love this game. I played just few stages, but had to buy the game. What's great about this game is that beside being very good solitaire you can build your own island / hideaway like in Cradle of Rome or similar games. Solitaire rules are similar to Fairway or Avalon Legends Solitaire, but Seven Seas Solitaire has it's own fun twist. The graphics are very nice, and story is very good. I recommend this game to everyone :) January 28, 2013
Love these Solitaire games! I love these type of Solitaire games! If you like high/low Solitaire similar to Fairway, you'll love this game. There is some reading to following the storyline, but it's not excessive. There are objectives at each "island", which give you something to shoot for. I've only played the demo, but do plan on purchasing this game. The graphics are bright and colorful. January 28, 2013
A Fun Game of Solitaire One of my favorite games from these developers is Arizona Rose and the Priates's Riddles, a puzzle game that I play often. This time they introduce another Pirate story that comes to us as a cardgame of Solitaire. Game mechanics involve playing high and low cards and earning gold coins. Graphics are cartoon style, music a bit too much and there are achievements to collect. Our story is about a honorably discharged sea captain who falls in love with the Duke's Daughter. He then is blamed for her dissapearance and jailed. Having escaped with the help of his former crew, he must now resort to becoming a Pirate and set sail across the seven seas searching for his true love. We follow his story as each page of his diary is written and with each level of solitaire, we need to meet the goals in order to earn enough coins to help reinforce our ship, build temporary quarters and purchase power-ups. Each level progress and offers challenges and obstacles like locked or frozen cards that need to be played twice. The goals with each level also become more difficult as you need to get enough gold coins or streaks in order to pass. Unfortunately there is no replay button. The hour demo went by very fast and I found myself immersed in the game. Although it isn't as stylish and as fun as Fairway, which is a favorite amongst Solitaire fans, it is passable and possibly worth a credit to buy. Very simplistic in style and form but does offer you challenging rounds of solitaire. January 28, 2013
Another 'golf' game This is another 'golf' type of solitaire game, but I think this maybe a 'keeper' as the storyline seems to be involved and interactive. The game 'rewards' you for getting 'perfects' by being able to build your land/ship. So in this respect it encourages you to think strategically and plan ahead. This different from other types of these games that are currently on the market, so bringing innovation into a tried and tested format. 'Crime Solitaire' also tried to bring innovation to this genre, and it worked, but I think this notches up a level, and if developers can keep bringing this sort of standard to this type of game then the future can only get brighter for this genre. Moaning bit I do wish though they bought other styles of solitaire other than 'golf' or 'snap', but then that could just be me wanting to much variety in my life :) January 29, 2013
Fun and Addicting I'm not a big fan of solitaire games but I thought I would try this (getting tired of HO) and was surprised how much fun it is. You have goals to achieve in order to go to the next level. You have to earn a certain amount of money and get so many perfect scores. You use your money to buy upgrades and power ups. It's fun to try to achieve the goals. January 28, 2013
Great Solitaire Game If you appreciate sequential solitaire, you will like this relaxing game. It has an interesting storyline and challenges every level. There are things, like docks and barracks, that need building between levels that earn power ups and bonuses. I was so ingrossed in this game, I was surprised when my demo time was up! Definately worth a try, maybe even a buy! January 28, 2013
Great solitaire with fun little tidbits I love all the solitaire games, but sometimes they can be a little too similar. This solitaire incorporates all the things you love about solitaire and adds tiny little mini-games for a fun twist, not to mention a ton of levels and goals. It's a great game to play while you are listening to the news. Fun and relaxing with a pirate flair. Arrrr you ready? January 29, 2013
Polly Wanna Play This is one of the best solitaire games I have played since Fairway Solitaire. Love the graphics and the sound is very relaxing and realistic. There are goals to meet and you also get to buy power ups. You sometimes have to get through wood or water in order finish the game. There also mini games in between sometimes to get more gold or it may take it away. You can also get cannon balls to destroy cards. I bought this game right away and have to pry myself away from the computer to get other things done. Ships Ahoy Matees! January 29, 2013
Pretty Interesting Game Good board game, similar to Fairway solitaire, you play the cards higher or lower than the one down. You can buy buildings or different power-ups, when you have enough money. There are objectives you must get to move onto the next level, such as X-amt. of money, or some many cards to create a combo, or obtain so many" perfects", etc. Haven`t played that much, but found water cards, cards that are blocked with wood, so instead of a hammer you must have tools to destroy the wood, they also have an octopus that you must use the card twice instead of just the once. There is a diary which tells you what is going on, but to me not really involved in the game, I think it`s just so they can use minutes up, but cool to read. I had to repeat one level near the beginning of the game as I didn`t get my objectives, but all-in-all not difficult at all. Good relaxing game, little cartoonish but ok. January 28, 2013
Not that great! I have a number of solitaire games and really enjoy playing them. This one has nice graphics and game play. Music gets annoying very quickly. Not a whole lot to do in this game, so got boring fast. It has a different story line, but that just didn't hold my interest and I like pirates. Needs a little more to boost the play, but not sure what. There are no wild cards to help the game along, so it moves slowly and is more difficult to beat than other card games. Fairway has always been my favorite, but I've been playing Chronicles of Emerland and really like that one a lot. This one could have been quite fun, but has no extras to make me want to keep playing. Maybe it changes as the game goes on, but didn't make me want to buy to find out. I recommend for people who just like to play solitaire with no challenge. As always, play it for yourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in games and you may find it quite enjoyable. Thanks for the reviews. January 28, 2013
