Fantastic artwork
Whomever designed the characters did a fantastic job making them look like real people--fluid motions, nice features, etc. An the fox made it cuter and very close to the heart. Storyline was strong, and with the twists and turns made it a worthy "whodunnit". Great job!

I truly enjoyed this!
Perhaps this game was too tame for some of the other reviewers, but i truly enjoyed it. Low pressure, low frustration, not a lot of running back and forth with one object to get to the next....the graphics were beautiful...only one mini game was confusing so the skip button came in handy. Game has a nice progression to it, so you can play a bit, walk away, and come back knowing exactly where you left off. Just the right amount of a challenge for an easy play day. Bravo!

Great Game
I enjoyed the demo and purchased it. I enjoy this developer and have many of their games, including the 2 previous one in this series as SE's. Since the game play has been reviewed perfectly by previous posters, I won't waste your time.
Great whodunit HOPA game. Not overly challenging that it would leave you frustrated as to what to do next. Cute furry sidekick fox that appears from time to time to help and an annoying assistant that was Captain Obvious. Although I love this game, I probably would have waited for the SE. I've been waiting until the last minute to fill my punch card for this month and this was the final winner.
Kudoes to the devs for synching the voice overs! Nice touch.

Of Fans and Gold Coins
This is an ok game. A little slow. Otherwise interesting. I don't like having to collect things (fans, in this case# to get hints. And collecting gold coins to buy things you need to advance is a little dated.
The story is a bit jumbled. The wife is kidnapped, then leaves alone. So....was she or wasn't she kidnapped?
I hope the little fox appears often, he's cute!
I bought this with discounted game credits, probably would have paid full price #game club member full price), but, I'll never know.
Not a great game, but, not a dud either.

not a good value for the $$
Game was just ok. not hard. you dont need the strategy guide. it was far too short to justify cost of CE. The game combined with the bonus play was shorter than many other regular games and far, far shorter than other CE's.
Storyline was choppy and shortcutted due to short length of game. Compared to so many other great games, this one was a disappointment.

Love this series!
Beautiful games, fun (if a bit easy gameplay), lovely settings - my only complaint is that, like most C.E.s it is TOO SHORT. The main game + the bonus are the length that games used to be before we had collectors editions. Really feels like we are being shortchanged. However, it's a great game and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I deleted before I finished.
I just got bored with the storyline. Missed a couple of gold tokens and had to go through the entire strategy guide multiple times to find the two I missed. After that, the story didn't justify the effort so I quit and deleted it. Maybe it was just me.

Super Entertaining Entry to the Grim Facade Series
I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I think the developers do an excellent job of blending HOS scenes vs. minigames, and even tho the story line was a tad predictable I seriously don't care (hello, it's a game, not a novel).
I think the fun factor is very high based on the variety of experiences within the game and I am looking forward to the next installment with great pleasure!
