The Mac version is full of glitches! Just finished the game, it was fun but I didn't get it at all. I couldn't see the dialogs sometimes, If I click hints sometimes they only thing you saw was the dialog box empty. And never saw any of the in between clips because the image started skipping like crazy. At first I thought "maybe it's the game trying to get all suspense and not letting you see all the action" but nope, they never showed. So after I finished, I had to look a walk-thru video to see the clips and now I get the story. The game is really fun but they REALLY need to fix the glitches asap! February 12, 2013
I LOVED this Grim Tales better than the rest For me this game was the most fun and the most challenging. I love the newer elements to the current games where you meet all sorts of creatures that you either have to do a favor for or interact with in some way. Love my helpers in this game... even the one I had to pay to get his help. ha There was a jump map with task lists at each location. Sometimes it was a long time before you could complete tasks at that location and there were always more than a couple to complete so you had to keep going back there to accomplish them. I thought the game was over at one point but there was still much to do to save the day. LOVED it.. the length was great... so worth the money. February 4, 2013
Great fun ! Grim tales are always good and I was not disappointed with this one, after buying 2 games that were ridiculously bad I was happy to get this one. Great clear graphics, lots of goblins and plenty places to explore and a good portal map ! I had fun ! Puzzles are challenging but I stayed with it and it went well. February 4, 2013
Another Excellent Elephant Game Having played the other Grim Tales i was sure this one would be as good, i wasn't to be disappointed , very good graphics, story line a bit weak but that wasn't important, a lot to do which is what i like about Elephant games, each scene is superbly done, attention to detail is amazing.Long game play, excellent.Thank you BF another brilliant game. Elephant games does it again!! This game is definitely top-notch in the HOG style games! Elephant Games it seems to me has produced some of the best games that I have played lately. I think most of the fans out there would agree with me. This game is visually beautiful, and has a wonderful storyline as well. Highly recommend it! February 19, 2013
Great story; great play; great game! Nice game with a good length. Enjoyed the story, the hidden object games were fairly easy, and I found several of the puzzles to be unique and pleasantly challenging rather than tedious. The interactive map is always a plus for me. I was also surprised when I thought the game was nearing the end and there was still a couple of hours of interesting play remaining. Overall a good experience! February 6, 2013
Love it No technical problems, no freezing etc.. just a good game February 3, 2013
One of my new favorites! Absolutely great game! Pretty tough puzzles for me, and I admit having to use the skip button more than I wanted to do. Just couldn't figure out how to do some of them. Loved the scenery, the characters, the storyline, the HOS's and the length of the game. Way to go, Elephant! February 8, 2013
Not as good as the rest of the series Meh. Just... meh. A lot of the things the game expected of you were out not intuitive. Too many random puzzles, not enough hidden object. The story seemed to end abruptly. Just... not nearly as good as the previous ones. (Also, confused bits of story- the description and one part of the story says that Brandon is the player's nephew (as in the previous game) but later he's just some boy. ) February 5, 2013
Grim Tale Agony I really wanted to like this game and there were parts I really liked. The parts I didn't like were awful. Thank goodness there was a map, because...even though this is what you do in a HOS...there was SO much back and forth it was ridiculous. The mini games were either crazy hard or simple enough for a five year old. The items in your inventory were very simple to use or so off the wall that without a hint button you would never figure out where to use it. The story was great, the graphics were beautiful, it was a long game...all of that was great. The other part, YIKES. I finished it only because I had invested too much time to give up. I usually love Elephant games but not this one. May 17, 2013
