Otherworld: Omens of Summer Collectors edition
Very disappointed. All going well until I lost item and couldn't recover it tho' I needed it again. I was supposed to "single" click but I double clicked. Would have had to go and start the game from the beginning. Not worth it! Thought it was a very dumb thing. Wouldn't buy if I had known.

Fun game
This is based on completion of the full game. I will not repeat what others have said, but mainly want to comment on the "mature" player issue. I believe this was given because it has fairies, which are usually cute and harmless. The Shade is a "fey creature" who is a nasty character and makes the world dark. No one dies. No one is transformed into a monster. It is no worse than the original game, "Spring of Shadows." However, I can see a young child seeing a cute fairy and thinking this is a typical fairy tale with Barbie and Rainbow Ponies. It isn't. But it isn't going to send anyone to bed with nightmares either.

Meh
pretty scenes, interesting plot. mini games are waaayyyy to easy, which baffles me cause it says its best to not play if you're 14 or under. I'm also not sure why I bought the Collectors Edition when there wasn't even a bonus part. Do not recommend

Absolutely Beautiful!
A late review but a sincere one - this is a beautiful effort, the graphics and especially the music. Not much to add to what the others have already said, but I'll buy the third one just as soon as it hits.

Medicore
I loved the first game! This game has great graphics and very clear but the story line is getting a bit wore out! You find yourself hitting the hint button more than usual because you are zipping back and forth! A sequel to the first, but definitely not an equal.

very good sequel
I rarely buy CE's, but I had 2 credits that had been burning a hole in my pocket. I loved the 1st Otherworld so much, that I bought this one without trying the demo, and I wasn't disappointed.
The story is very engaging. And I love achievements. The graphics were lovely. The HOP were very spaced out and not overwhelming at all.
My only complaint and the reason I couldn't give it 5 stars was the puzzles were far too easy. I rarely even had to look at the directions to figure them out.
But other than that, this game was a perfect way to spend a lazy afternoon.
On expert mode, playing at a casual pace, the core game took me 4 hours and the bonus took me 1 hour. If you buy the SE you will be left out of the ending (which leaves it open for the next game).

Very Good game
Overall I thought this was a fun game. Graphics were very good. One of the things I loved about this game was that you didn't amass such a huge amount of inventory and then forget where everything was suppose to go. At any given time I never had more than 5-6 items. Also loved the fact that the cut scenes were an appropriate length - gave enough info to keep you into the story line - then it was back to exploring.
However, I'm not sure why it isn't appropriate for children under 14. There isn't any inappropriate dialog or scenes.
I would recommend this game
