Not Impressed Very disappointed - played a previous Edgar Allen Poe game but this was just all over the place and really not interested in continuing March 10, 2013
Strange Game Well, almost immediately I started to hate this game, and by the time I'd played 30 minutes of the demo, I was thoroughly irritated and bored. 1. I hate looking for silhouettes. 2. I didn't like the progressive HOS. 3. I especially didn't like looking for silhouettes in a progressive HOS. 4. The gimmick of having the dog look for things was... erm... a little bit cute, but irritating to have to notice if an item had a paw print or not. 5. I kept missing the hint button and clicking on the dog by mistake. 6. A brightly-colored, childish, puppet-boat game as a puzzle to open a lock?? Whaaa???? The gate is old and rickety, but the lock looks like a brand new, hand-drawn puppet show? Looks like it's drawn out of a children's coloring book. Stupid. 7. Finding the wave to go with the puppet show was another silhouetted HO. Finding a game you like is a personal thing, so try it. If nothing else, Dupin is verrry easy on the eyes. July 3, 2013
