Not Inspiring, But Not Bad Either
Story: As the blurb says, Jessica?s trouble starts on her wedding day, with a car accident caused by an apparition, a husband who disappears, leaving her wounded to fend for herself in an unknown forest. Which she does admirably and eventually ends up at her husband?s family mansion, where things really start getting strange! :)
The demo took me 45 minutes of relaxed and pleasant play, and in that time I did a heap of slightly interactive HOs, so I?m guessing that the emphasis will be on those. The HOs are exceptionally clear, large and bright, which didn?t stop me needing a hint now and then.
As others have mentioned, this doesn?t seem like it will be memorable, but I do believe it will be enjoyable and reasonably interesting. The story for the length of the demo went very slowly admittedly, little actually happened, so it may not be edge-of-your-seat stuff. It will go on my ?punchcard filler? list, which means I?ll buy it eventually.
Game is ideal for lovers of HOs who still want some purpose to their seeking.
FOR THE RECORD THE ORIGINAL SILENT SCREAM WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE THIS and absolutely awful to play.

Attack of the Disgruntled Teddy Bears!!
I enjoyed the creepy music and sound effects. The objectives tab and messages about new objectives and completion were very helpful to me. I'm a HOS fan and this had enough to keep me happy. The hidden teddy bears were an added bonus in the HOS. The voice overs were pleasant and I was indeed compelled to finish the game and see how it all turns out.
I would have liked the skip button to charge a bit quicker. Sometimes I just can't wrap my brain around a particular puzzle. A map indicating areas of interest and HOS would have been helpful especially when an area is used twice.

Completed game review: Wow! didn't see that one coming
So maybe I'm a little naive, because I didn't expect the ending to be how it was.
It's was a bit cheesy in the demo and where it left off and all, but I'm glad I got the game. It's a straight forward HOS with logical item usage. It's a little tedious going through all the rooms to get to a place but I ended up loving the storyline. A quick game play. If you've got a coupon or free game code, get this game!

AHHHHH, JUST RIGHT!!.....
Based on the Demo this game is a perfect balance of mystery, intrigue, pleasant, scary (without unappealing overt occult, thus far at least)..... I purchased it and believe it is at least WELL worth the price tag.
So, overall, this is a very well made game: nice graphics, clear H0G scenes, appealing cutscenes, voiceovers good, sound great and mix of puzzle with H0G and adventure, a great mix that should appeal to most all casual gamer genre lovers.
Obviously this can't be compared to CE game offerings, yet as presented, it is a definite winner.
Give it a whirl... it's enjoyable gaming in every respect.
Thumbs up.

A silent review
Has potential, but kind of slow moving! If you like a lot of HO's then this is the game for you because there are a ton of them. Not to many puzzles and they were nothing new, jump the red jewels over the green jewels to switch sides, or click on hex stones to trap the rat from escaping. The storyline was good but after an hour demo the only thing I did was wash out my cuts from a car accident and I followed a ghost into the forest! It's a good game, the graphics are okay, but you don't have to put much thought into the game you will know what to pick up, where to use that item and how to use that item.

Interesting story!
The game starts with a car crash, but the story is good with an interesting ending.
There are 2 game modes. The graphics are clear, even in the HOS.
The mini-games are on the easy side but interesting.
There is no map but it's not that necessary.
The game is not very long, a bit more than 3 hours for me in the "nightmare" mode, but I still recommend it.

Love Love Love this game
simple but great fun. May be a game more suited to females.
Lots of hidden objects, but they were fun also. Ready for Silent Scream III. Thanks BF

Whoah! Does this have a great ending!!!
This game is worth playing just for the story and especially the ending! I have to play thiis , again.
The voice overs and cut scenes were very good and needed. Graphics were great. It's not a difficult game but well worth the money spent. The HOS start off easy and increase, somewhat, in difficulty. The hint button functions during HOs and to keep you on track. It refills quickly enough. The games are not really difficult but still fun.
After being stuck on two games, this was a refreshing change. In my opinion, it is worth buying just for the story.I know I am being redundant so you know I really recommend it.

A steady, even game....
Firstly, this game should probably be 3 1/2 stars, as it wasn't quite the same calibre as some of the games around. It was also a tad on the short side.
Everything about this game was smooth and steady. The hidden object games, puzzles, tasks to complete - all at a nice even pace. I played on the harder of the two modes, where no hints or skips were allowed...but none were needed.
You had a journal but no map, although the map wasn't really needed as the game was divided into sections, where you only need access areas around you with each section.
The storyline itself was probably the strongest part of the game, (although still full of holes) and at the very end I thought "finally, a bit of meat in a game!"...and then the last sentence was spoken and ruined everything. Take that very last sentence out, which didn't fit in with the general plot, and you have a semi-decent story. No edge of the seat suspense, but still has you guessing.
I found this game to be a great filler-in, and definitely recommend it.
