WARNING!
This game is addictive! Heros is a game that is very similar to the Cradel series which I love. There are a couple of nice features, you get 3 options of match 3 such as the classic match at least 3 to click and drag a series of matches that are next in line. There is also 2 play modes, relaxed and timed. The music however is repetitive and annoying. You will earn gold to build a town helping the phesants along the way. As the game progresses you will complete the main section by dropping a key to the bottom of the board which will unlock another section of the board. You will collect axes, bombs, bows etc. along the way to help destroy the blocks. Have fun!

A fun way to become reaquainted with a Hero from the Past!
Charming, relaxing, pleasant to play. I love the period music and the theme. What a wonderful way for young people to develop an interest in one of our most admirable heroines! Not much attention is given to many of these important figures in history - playing a themed game about that person is a valuable learning tool I know it has given me a renewed interest in Joan. Thanks for your good choices, Big Fish!

What's wrong with playing while learning about Joan?
This is a truly well-done game. It has all of the bells and whistles expected from a modern match-3 -- optional timer, 3 game modes, many different power-ups, varied tasks, and very interesting game boards, just to mention a few. The music is true to the period and not annoying, and the instructions are clear. It is very fun to play.
So, add the story of a great heroine, which many outside France may not know or only vaguely know, and what can be wrong with that? Learning through a game is not the worst way to learn. I have played the game for two hours and have found nothing offensive or blasphemous.
I definitely plan to play through this game in each game mode at least once.

Nice Game
I was happy to open the website and not see another HOS or time management game. I love this type of game. Big Fish...please put more Match Games out there. Make them bigger and harder. Challenge is the name of the game. Bring it on!! There is always room for improvement. I did purchase this game.

Joan of Arc meets Cradle of Persia!
I enjoy history and history themed games, books, etc. so this game immediately caught my notice. I also enjoy town building match 3's like Cradle of Persia, Rome, etc. This game has all that and (having only played the demo) some mildly historical revelence. But if you're looking for a classy, nicely drawn m3 with good VO's, this is certainly one of them This may also satisfy your construction enjoyment too, as the town is beautifuly illustrated. I wish, though, as I do in other town builders, that the player could interact with the people. Oh, Well, it's a fine game nonetheless and I recommend giving it a try.

This has them all
Every kind of match 3 in one game. Swap, chain, group. Also hidden areas and powerups. Drop things to the bottom to collect, collect enough of one kind, clear tiles etc. You get to build a village with your winnings. I bought it after 10 minutes.

Fun "Historical" Game
I enjoyed this game and bought it after only 5 mins. play. Didn't find this reference to Joan of Arc offensive at all -- as another reviewer stated. Think it's a great way for a gamer to be reminded of one of the great figures in history -- and a great woman at that. And this gameplay has nothing offensive about it at all hence not a detriment to "Joan's" great history. Only gave 4 stars because I found the graphics a bit "youthful" for this old lady.

Rebuild Joan's Village
This review is only on the demo -- I haven't decided to buy yet or not. It is based on the same premise as the Cradle of Rome and Cradle of Persia, but not nearly as much fun. You basically make matches to get money to improve the village with houses, farms, sawmill, etc. But the improvements are only based on money, and it takes a while to gather enough $$$ to make the next improvement. It does have a timed and a relaxed mode, which I like, and allows three types of matches (swap, group or chain). It has the challenges of ice squares and boxes to break, as well as powerups of axe, bomb and more. I like this game -- I just wish it were more exciting!
