This is a fun hidden object and design game. Light hearted, uplifting game. Great change from dark sinister games. How much you receive for finding items depends on how long it takes, so there is a time element, but the only "penalty" is that you have to play more games to get enough money to buy upgrades. Lots of fun.

Farmscapes meets Gardenscapes
Interesting combination of Farmscape characters and Gardenscapes HOG. Instead of buying vegies and fruit (M3) as we did in Farmscapes, Joe and Tom host jumble sales (HOS) to renovate the barn and save up for a tractor. I enjoyed playing this especially the interactive aspect. It was nice to see Linda again, too, as she "waddled" in to check up on progress and share her own unique perspective. The only thing I didn't like about playing Barn Yarn were the occasional "1000 extra points" to review other Playrix games which I already owned. After the first encounter, I ignored these pop ups. What I love most about all Playrix games is the careful integration of game play, graphics, music, and story. It is wonderful to see that this game team continues that tradition in Barn Yarn. I highly recommend this!

A Wonderful Game
For anyone who has played farmscapes they will know the characters Tom and Joe . and the farm that was saved from ruin Here the story continues with a barn that needs renovating and to earn money they are selling unwanted items The major change in the game are HO's instead of Match Three but if you have played Gardenscapes you will know what to expect customers who require items you gain more money the quicker you are you can also find money hidden in the scenes and extra hints . At first glance this may appear childish but be warned it is addictive I am happy to admit I love it

Welcome Back, Farmer Joe!
I LOVE this game. Like the three previous games in this genre -- Gardenscapes, Mansion Makeover, and Farmscapes, you solve HOS to get $$$. In this case, you are fixing up the barn Grandpa just bought, and of course Tom the grandson comes along to help. As you make money, you buy flooring or stairs or a comfy chair. Ultimately, you want to buy a tractor. The HOS are of medium difficulty, and you can always use a butterfly hint to find something. The butterflies are replenishable by finding them in the next HOS. For a mindless game that gives you a break from the much harder Hidden Object mysteries, this provides a lot of fun and replayability.

Love it!!
I love Farmscapes and have played it many many times, and this sequel is just as cute, simple and fun!! This time, Grandpa Joe is restoring an old barn with the help of his grandson. Instead of a match 3 like Farmscapes, this is a fast paced hidden object game. You have 3 different types of hints that can help you, and as you accumulate coins you buy things to make improvements. It has very smooth action...you just need to run your cursor over the coins as you find items and sell them, not like in Gardenscapes, where you had to click on the coins. This makes it much faster to move on to the next thing. The same cute characters are included along with some new ones; the story is sweet and uncomplicated and the artwork is adorable....all in all: a total hit with me!

Farmscapes Meets Gardenscapes
Gameplay is Hidden Object and is set on Joe's Farm from Farmscapes
Cute Storyline and Graphics, Muted music vafter a bit
*a few of the objects are Tee-Niney, but Hints available**
I'm not Crazy about HO games, but am undecided as to buy or not... Leaning toward Buy just because it is SO fun & CUTE :)

Great game
WOW, I am delighted to find this game. I have the other two, Gardenscape and Gardenscape Mansion Makeover, Love both so decided to try this one, played demo then bought. Some items are a little harder to find but that's part of the fun and seeing how funky you can make the design. If you like the other two, you will like this one too.

Barn Yarn
Love love love this new addition to the Farmscapes games! Even though its another HOG its nice to have options on what you want to purchase for YOUR upgrades and how you want your barn to look. Always loved these types of games along with TM. Wish they would do more TMs than the regular horror HOGs. If you enjoyed the Farmscape and the Gardenscape then your definitely going to enjoy this one to add to your collection!
